don't listen to anything else anyone else has written on here. We have no clue if you're overweight based on your description. We would need a picture. Plus, you're 13, you are still carrying some fat from adolescence, which will fall off without you doing anything.
This is coming from someone, who when you look at the numbers would be fat, but in fact, when people say how much they think I weigh, they guess 20-30 lbs under what I really weigh.

Some of these people on here are jerks. You are not fat, you have a completely normal body, Just because you have some cruves doesn't mean your fat. As long as you are happy and healthy that's all that matters. You're only 13 and you still have a lot of growing to do.....please just love yourself for who you are. If there is someone that is making you feel bad about yourself then they need to be told their actions are having a negative effect on you and to worry about themselves and not you. I wish when I was 13 I would have just learned to love myself then my teenage years would have been a lot happier. But now I'm an adult, i'm tall and curvy and I look like a healthy woman, not a skeleton and I love myself. Save yourself the heartache and learn this lesson now, take my advice.

Well, in my terms: above the average (ATA).
You're as tall as me, but, I'm 23 lbs. lighter. I'm not saying you are, but here are some great ways to lose weight (and rather fun ways too!)
Got a PS2? Got an EyeToy? There is an awesome game called EyeToy: Groove. You can dance to music, and see yourself dance, and, in the process, burn some KCals!
But a better way is Konami's famous dancing game series, DDR! They just released the SuperNOVA mix for the PS2 and the 4th Ultramix for the XBox. If you play a song on the light difficulty, you will burn about 120 KCals/20 minutes, trick will get you 180/20 min, and heavy and oni will subtract about 210/20 minutes.
You can also eat healthier foods and be more outgoing. Good luck!

Hey,
I'm in the EXACT same position. I'm almost 13 in 7th grade, and I weigh 150 lbs., and I don't think you're fat/overwight, because God made you the way you are, but if you're worried about your body size, try a weighted hula hoop, running, or some type of other physical exercise. But you're not fat, and don't get discouraged about you're weight. It's just one of those things. Good luck!

You may be a little overweight but 13 is a ("changable) age for girls. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea if you ate more fruits and vegetables, especially apples and green beans if you like them. (low in fat and calories but very filling). Also, take up walking for at least 30 minutes everyday. In about a month you will have lost 10 pounds. I used to work as a fitness consultant.

These are more important questions Do you eat right? Exercise? Fat is usually a matter of opinion and a horrible one at best. You should be more concerned about your health. If you are over weight for your age & height (and you find this out after consulting a physician) then you need to reevaluate your life style and make a change.

well your about 25-30 pounds overweight, but some people carry extra weight better than others so id have to see what you look like to say if u looked fat, im a little over weight and i get more girls that i can handle so its not always bad

It depends on your build! I was about the same when I was your age. I always took for granted how cute I was and now I look back I was not fat at all and in sure neither are you! The cool thing about it is you will look older than the rest of your friends!

No u are not fat...Believe me you are only 13 as you get taller you will get thinner. You are still growing and your body is maturing. I promise everything will be ok you are perfect just the way you are and don't let anyone tell you different. Love, light and many blessings to you!
