My husband and I just got married. We want to have kids in a couple of years. I've never taken birth control before and I was
wondering if it would be Ok to start now. Would it lessen my chances of getting pregnant when I want to? I've heard that women can have a difficult time getting pregnant after being on birth control for over a year.

My son is 21mths ol. He has started talking, saying loads of individual words, but no sentances together yet.

Yesterday, he pointed to my bum and said "bot-bot" I said "yes, mummies bot-bot"...he then pulled his cheekiest fac, pointed again to my bum and said "tractor"!

I know it's not that funny to anyone else but it made me laugh!

What has your little one said?

We all know how many calories he aversge, women and man should consume a day. But how many calories should a todler consume. I appreciate the mixed well balanced diet theory, which he has. But I was wondering if there were any guidelines that would help me.
I also appreciate that a child will eat as much as it needs. I am loking for specific not general answers.

hi there, I was wondering whether anyone has any experience or knowledge about any age limit for fertility drugs?? I have been diagnosed with severe pcos 5 years ago, and have just seen a specialist doctor in Germany. She suggested that I would start trying for a baby (with fertility drugs) within the next couple of years for our best chance of conceving. I have tried to talk to my GP here in the UK, but he laughed and said that I was too young to have and care for a child. I am 23 in a 5 year relationship, stable job, mortgage and a loving partner. Can he really have any control over when I would like to try for a child??? any suggestions would be great. thanks

he has supposedly stopped working because his wife has had a large health insurance lump sum payout. He is supposed to be out of work to look after her. She is often out and about and seems to be fine, he is working fairly regularly.I have always kept the csa out of things, even when times were hard. I think he is taking the P.!

My daughter is a little over 5 months, she normally goes to bed at 8:30 pm and will wake between 2:15 - 3:15 am to nurse then goes back to sleep till I have to wake her - since I work during the week. I usually wake her at 6:30 which gives me time to nurse her and get her ready to go by 7ish. Last night she slept all the way through till 4:45 am, I nursed her and she's sleeping, should I still wake her at 6:30 to nurse her or just let her sleep till almost 7 and get her up, change her and go? I want to keep my milk supply up so I wasn't sure what most mom's do when their breastfed baby starts sleeping through the night. Thanks.
