First, you don't practice sex, you have sex. Second, you should not have sex until you are prepared to deal with the possiblity of a baby. I say this because the truth is that there is no birth control that is 100%, not even sterilization. If you don't believe me, take a few days and monitor the pregnancy questions and the questions in adolescent. There are a lot of people in trouble with unwanted pregnancies or the threat of unwanted pregnancies. Not to mention all the various diseases you can get, even if you only have one partner. It's amazing the amount of suffering in the world that could be avoided if people just kept their pants zipped.

Practice makes perfect.... Just joking.... Children do not fully understand all the possible problems with sex.... It does not matter whether you are 22 or 16, many of the same problems exist... So, I would coach your child to wait until they are at least of out high school.... And during this time, you need to be teaching them everyday about SAFE SEX... That means, how to protect themselves from pregnancy, STDs, psychological and social fall out associated with sex... It is SOOOOOO hard to find a good women that does not have a whole truck load of baggage about this since they started too early and are all screwed up emotionally and psychologically...

I was 14 when I started having sex and I wouldn't recommend it. I wouldn't even want my child to have sex at such a young stage in their lives. There are alot of negative effects when you have sex at such a young age because your body hasn't developed fully yet. I learned that girls having sex under the age of 21, have higher chances of getting cancer of the cervix. And she will never be able to have children. I would say 18 is a reasonable age. But physically and mentally 21 is the best time.

It's a very big mistake in child life because they don't have any type of Ides about the meting with each other and that time there mind is not in there control. That age wants only time pass with any other they or how plus to minus.

I don't think CHILDREN (that is the key word here) should have sex.

I think that, ideally, they should wait until they finish High School before having sex. That way, if anything happens, they've at least finished High School and have that behind them to back them up.

No. In a country finding it difficult to deal with existing health problems, it is not wise to increase those by large no. of cases of STDs.
I find it amusing that it is Yahoo Answers, India, but it is accessible to ppl in UK & USA too. The positive responses are more from these responders. It is not reasonable.

what would be the purpose of 'practicing' sex....oh i know so you can get all the STD's out of the way at an early age.

the ideal age would be when he/she is really and truly in love with the person and planning to spend the rest of their lives together...or at least 18 so then your parents aren't responsible for you and your children

i'm not perfect but i know its best to wait.

there is no set age..but the rule of thumb and morility is you may practice sex when you are old enough to face the consquences that may come from it and support them..weather it be a baby or a sexual diease..most youg kids want to have sex but then when they get into trouble they are left saying.."what happened"....wait till your married or older then noone has to pay for your mistake but yourself
