When I talk to my doctor about whether or not he wants to induce, he tells me, "Let's just wait and see what happens." How long overdue do you have to be before the doctor starts considering induction?

OK..I know babies cry...some a lot, but I am concerned about my 4 month old boy. He has always been miserable (the doctor says colic). When he was tiny (newborn- 3 months) he cried for 4-5 hours straight a day. He is now 4 months and has gotten better with the constant crying. However, whenever I take him out of the house to friend's house. bowling alley, or my in-laws (etc.) he cries non-stop. He becomes hysterical and cannot be calmed down until we pack him up and put him in the car. I THINK it is the noise, but am not sure. He is usually OK at the grocery store or Target, but becomes impossible at a social gathering. The doctor also expressed concern at the fact that he is not laughing or rolling over yet. He does smile, but rarely in public and inconsistently with us at home. I have a terrible feeling that something is wrong. Can anyone offer me some insight on this????

Ok, so the reason I'm posting this under parenting is I need to know what kind to put in my daughters room. She's 9 months old and has mild asmtha. Which one is good for asmtha? Her room is a little dry, nothing too bad though. I did buy a humidifier for her room already, but I'm not sure I should use it. I know dampness can be bad for asmtha, but I think if her room is dry it will also affect her asmtha for the worst.

Any advice?

My daugher is almost 4 months old. Ever since she was born she hated the pacifer, which suprised the nurses because she had great sucking ability. She now sucks her fingers, but refuses any kind of nuks and spits them out. We even tried putting formula on the end of the nipple to trick her, but it only worked for a second. Is there anyway a baby can learn to like a pacifer? It would be so much easier on me since sucking really calms her down.

I have a friend who is a cronic lier but this time she's saying she's pregnant and two of the three urine tests she's taken have come up positive. She's been under a lot of stess lately with a boyfriend who hates her. I'm thinking she wants to be pregant to trap him. Is it possible that her body could fool the test to be positive?

My baby is almost 6 months old and nurses all the time, just started giving him baby food a few weeks ago 1-2 times a day but he still nurses very frequently. My period last month was Sat 27th Jan, my hubby and I has intercourse on the 5th but more mucous was present from the 9th and we had intercourse on Sat 10th. Next period due 24th Feb. Although lately my breasts are tender, lower abdominal area is tight, more light cramping on the left side. Big headaches last week and have been really fatigued I dont normally suffer pre menstrual symptoms til 2 days before expected period. I hope it is pre preg symptoms? Your opinions?

Ok so I went to the doctor today and since I have been bleeding for near 3 weeks. I haven’t had a period for 4 months before now. He put me on a prescription called Norethindrone Acetate. Which is used to treat disorder of the lining of the uterus. Which the doctor told me it will make me stop bleeding then he said afterwards I will have a very short period but no where near heavy bleeding. “12 day supply of pills” Well when this is all said and done I go back to the doc in 3 weeks and then he’s going to put me on a medication that will make me ovulate more meaning produce more eggs. I’m just total blown away by the whole thing I mean I know my periods where always different each month ranging from 32 to 45 days but I never thought I would have a problem with my ovulation guess that’s why the ovulation test always said negative. Anyone else been on this medicine or gone threw something like this?

So i could be pregnant by pre *** but i dont know because i have to wait a little bc i just had sex 3 days ago and the test would not be accurate right now. My question is, WHEN does a guy pre ***?
