I have a very close friend who took birth control for three months and then stopped. A week later she had sex with her boyfriend without using protection and I was wondering if her stopping the birth control the week before increases or decreases her chances of becoming pregnant

I sure love mine, and I'd be damned to have anyone negate that. I'd be ready to go to war over it. How is your breastfeeding bond any more special? My baby looks into my eyes, smiles at me, coos at me, holds my fingers, kneads my breasts, and snuggles against me. If that's not a bond, she's one hell of an early con artist.

i read that 8.9kgs is ideal at this age. otherwise her devpt is normal. she sits properly and can stand with support.her apetite is also seems normal. please suggest how to improve her weight.

Hey..ive been feeling really sick, i've been very very tired, and my lower back is killing me. i have never felt this way before in my life. my period hasnt started and its been almost a month. these arent symptoms of my period coming on at all. my is very normal. are these symptoms of being pregnant. friends have told me that they are. i would have never thought about this if they wouldnt have passed the comment to me. i dont want to be. so its not all in my head cause of me wanting to be. i dont know. can someone please help me out. thanks so very much

We automatically have to "feel guilty"? I feel happy about my strong healthy baby. What about you? Please kill that noise. The only thing I am upset about is how you boob nazis are always up in everyone elses mix trying to run our lives and make us feel bad because we made different choices for our families than you did. Boo hoo. Get over it. You are no better than me, or the next formula user, and your kid has just a much a chance of ending up on skid row as anyone elses who feeds Enfamil or NAN or whatever. It annoys me that mothers register. Everyone knows what they need. i never registered, and I got what I wanted, of course I wasn't really picky either. Why do they put things like cribs and strollers, I just think it's tacky. Use the gift cards you get to buy the big things.

It seems that every time she dose find a really good friend their family moves away and she looses them. This has happened about five times now and she is devastated.

DING!!!! You get a ring on the door at O'dark thirty from some fat lady with a 19 month old in a sling hanging off her boob handing out pamphlets claiming if you don't breastfeed your baby will catchTB, acidosis, arsenic poisioning, cerebella ataxia, cystitis, Yaws, and Heaven knows what else. Just for the record, may baby has had none of the above, or even a common cold. I am just wondering if they are going to start door to door service since they are always at the Y handing out their unwanted pamphlets. But hey, they make one hell of a window cleaner with a little windex and some elbow grease.

Those Lanshinoh cloths are all I use. They are expensive but worth it. It really angers me that that go out of their way to say it's only for breastfeeding "moms and babies". Like their poop is any morre special than other poop. My baby still poops yellow curds just like your precioso breastfed ones. So, are we lesser "ormula feeders" allowed to use the product? Or are we not worthy?

Some boob nazi gave me this hell on wheels lectue on how I need to be breastfeding my now 4 month old son. I was simply buying fotmula and a few bottle brushes. What can i do about this properly next go round? This time, I simply went the hell off on her and basically told her i'd feed my baby purreed steaks if I wanted to, and for her to back up before she got beat down because I'm from the ghetto, don;t let the smooth taste and the business suit fool you. She went away, but I SOOOOOO wanted to chuck a 32 ounce can of similac at the back of her head. What gives her the right? Are all you breatfeeders like this? Here's a mental check...YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE. Get over yourselves for Chrissakes. God, that shopping trip was an experience from HELL. I wrote a 4 page letter to the regional manager of Target abou this that I wil drop off on my way to work tomorrow. F'ing bi+ch. Why are you all like that? My kid may be 1,000 smarter than your breastfed one. Who knows? Only God.

My pediatrician told me to add 1tsp of rice cereal to each 2oz of formula i feed my 1month old (9lb boy) to get him more full, and possibly sleep longer. Has anyone give rice cereal to a 1 month old? What were your experiences? I would be adding 2-3tsps per feeding, i want to make sure it doesnt case an issue.

I went to the doctor recently and had to give blood. My mom paid extra to have me drug tested and I passed. Do you think it is wrong and that she should have at least told me about it? Even after she got the results? I found out from my sister.
