I am looking for a girl name that when you shorten it for a nickname it is sounds like a boys. i know i know this maybe be weird to some of you but my whole family is boys and i just think it's cute. Examples, Andrea- Andi, Samantha-Sammi, Joann- Jo,

In regards to movies such as "Ice Age," (1 &2), "Rugrats," "Sponge Bob," "Cars," and the new movie coming out "The Monster House."

Why do they continually gear and garner these movies to attract child audiences when they are highly profane, explicit, and inappropriate? But, more importantly, why do we continue to take our children to and allow them to watch such movies?

Example: The new movie "Monster House," has a trail out that delves into the houses anatomy. The female protagonists notices that it's splintered woodened gap must be its mouth, the houses rug is its tongue, and the chandelier is its uvula. One of the male protagonists states. . "Oh, so it's a girl house. . ."

Tongue. . . vagina. . .see the connection. . .

Just plain DIRTY.

Question: Do you take your children to see these types of movies? If you do, do you see harm in it? And, if you don't, why not?

I know this girl that has a 4 year old boy that still wears diapers. She says that he isnt slow or challenged, but he is just lazy and won't do it. We go to a gym together that has a daycare program and they won't change his diaper and she gets mad. But I don't blame them because a 4 year old in diapers is just crazy in my opinion and seems like laziness on her part. What do you think?

The theme is "Incredible Race," and lots of automotive-type add-ons. (Obviously trying to capitalize on the movie release of "Cars.") Anyway. . .I think all I have to do is shuffle them from one station to the next. My 3-yr-old is very attentive and obedient, but I'm not quite sure what to do with such a large group of them. (I'm not a "fun" mom. . .more a "be polite" and "do your chores" kind.)

I'd appreciate fun suggestions for the following:

*Things to keep them engaged for 15 minutes in the morning while we're waiting for everyone to arrive (and when we're done)

*A "quiet" sign that they might think is fun, for when they need to listen to what's going on

*Something fun to keep them quiet and all together in the halls as we're going from one station to the other.

*If you have experience with this, anything else that might be helpful. . .thank you!

Right, I have just changed from breast feeding to bottle feeding and have a few questions, can anyone help me please? (my son is 7 months old)

1. Do you always have to boil tap water first?
2. If you boil the water, can you mke the formula while the water is still hot (straight from the kettle) or do you have to wait until it has cooled down first?
3. If they drink 4oz of a 7oz bottle, can you put the rest in the fridge for later?
4. Can you make a bottle from water directly from the cold tap?
5. How many times can you reheat a bottle that was made with hot water?
6. How many times can you reheat a bottle that was made with cold water?
7. Can I make a bottle up when I go to bed and leave it in my son's bedroom in the night for when he wakes up, or does it have to be kept in the fridge?
8. If I am going out for the day, will a bottle be ok if I take it in and out the car with me all day?

Sorry for all the questions! Can anyone help me please?
