I think you mean how long do you have to wait after an instance of unprotected sex, right? Well, if you're wondering how soon the pregnancy tests can pick it up, you should know that you have to wait about two and a half to four weeks before it can detect it. I am in the medical profession and if girls come in and need to take a pregnancy test, we won't run it if it hasn't been long enough since the incident of unprotected sex.
As for the other comments here, it does not matter if you adminster the test first thing in the morning or in the middle of the night, whether it's the first urine sample of the day or whether it's the fourth. That has absolutely no bearing on the results, so please ignore that advice.

Depends on what type of pregnancy test you use, their are some test that you could use 2 weeks before your missed period. Most pregnancy test say to wait a week after your missed period for a accurate answer. You should ask your doctor for a blood test to bee 100 percent sure.

The best time to take it is with your first morning pee. It would have the highest level of the pregnancy hormone. You can take it later in the day just it will be more accurate if you take it in the morning.
