for example if i asked at what age should my baby start brushing his/her teeth? and i got an answer that said "three months" how do i know it is correct?

My daughter has participated in local and pre-lim beauty pageants since she was 11mos old (she's almost 4 now), and she loves them. She loves to go onstage, for her it's like "dress-up" with an audience. (She doesn't wear make-up or anything that's not age-appropriate.) So why is the common public so quick to viiianize us pageant moms? How is it any different from any other childhood activity? Is it because of the small percentage of wacko stage moms that always seem to end up on talk shows? I don't understand all of the negativity toward something that my little girl enjoys so much.

People ask me if I put my daughter in pre-school yet. Like it's mandatory. Of course it is a positive experiance, but necessary, I don't see it. I can certainly teach her abc's colors and numbers and socialization you don't need at a school, a playground can give her that.

I am 22 and I have never been pregnant, I look on the internet about this line "linea nigra" i think it's called but you aren't supposed to get it till the 2nd trimester, I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, that was 2 days ago, I'm worried about this, could this be a sign of pregnancy or does anyone know what else it could be from????

The pediatrican told me that my son is doing this because he might be bored, tired or overexcited. David was born at 34 weeks and he is a very happy, active child. For some reasons ( maybe teething) he stopped eating solid foods a week ago and since yestarday he started shaking his head from side to side for at least 10 times.He did it in morning, in the afternoon and in evening ...countless times.If I try to stop him, he stops, but I have no idea why is he doing thist. Please let me know if you had similar experiences, I am terrified.

I am amazed at how judgmental some of you people are. People come to this website to get help, not to be critisized and judged for the desitions that they make. Sometimes people don't have people in their lives that they can depend on in confidence with life chosies and advise. It is just amazing to me how some of the responces are so judgemental. Like none of you have ever made mistakes or bad choises. How about giving constructive advise that people can take away from here instead of comming down on them for asking for help. I just don't get it.

My son is 6 months old. He goes to sleep just fine on his own at night time. But when it comes to naps he hits, he screams, he scratches. I or his dada have to put him down for every nap he takes. What should we do?? Oh, and b4 you say, "fuss it out" well, just don't say it cause that is inhumane!!!
