As far as bedtime, around 11 is the age that I let my daughter set her own bedtime. As long as I didn't have problems getting her up the next day, I was fine with the time she chose for bed. Curfews.... definately depend on what they are doing and who they are with. At that age, I don't believe that you can just give a time to "be in" for the night.

First I have a question for you, Please do not be offended.
Does your child listen to you or are they hard to handle?
Well so you know where I'm coming from, I have an 11 year old my self.
I think that an 11 yr old can have a bedtime at 10:00pm, Unless they are hard to wake in the morning, then it should be 9:00.
Their curfew should be, during the week, 8:30pm and on the weekends 9:30pm.
Some think I'm strict, but she is my child and there are allot of dangerous people out there.
How this helps you.
Curfew is when they need to be in the house and bedtime is when they should be going to sleep.

Bedtime is when they actually go in their beds and start to fall asleep for the night. Curfew is when they need to be in the house for the night. A curfew for an 11-year old would be 8 pm and a bedtime would be 9pm if it's a school night and between 10 and 11 pm it it's not a school night. Good Luck!!!

Answering this as a young teen, i think 9:00 is a very appropiate bedtime. Every year i got to stay up 15 mintues later, and i looked forward to it every time. A good curfew i would say is 8:30, but curfews should be flexible unless you want a rebel :)
good luck

curfew should be 9:30 to 10 or so.... and in bed by 11. Curfew is when they have to be home, and bedtime is when they need to be in bed.

Curfew - dinner time
Bedtime - depends on the individual child and how much sleep he needs, but between 9-10 on a school night.

I am 14 so my bed time when i was 11 was 9:00. Curfew on weekends was until my parents told me to come in. And on school nights was 8:00.
Curfews are times to be back home.
Bed times are times you set for your child to go to sleep.
