My Early intervention therapist suggesting these finger food puffs for my son to help with pincer and picking up foods- he still is pretty bad with tongue and getting food into mouth vs shirt, hands, etc. Question is how many, 80 per serving- he tends to put a lot in his mouth if I give him more than 10- can the baby choke on these- melts in mouth (?) Thanks!

As a single mother I am constantly baffled by the number of young men and those who are supposedly more mature who are not involved in their kids lives. Most mothers would prefer that you spend constructive and nurturing time with the kids than give them the tiny sum the court awards. Most men get so upset with what they think the mother is doing with the money that they forget it is possible to take care of your kids from the start to avoid the anger that child support brings. Buy your kids clothes and personal items yourself and you won't need to worry about where your money goes because the receipt is in your pocket. I'm also tired of the lame argument that you didn't ask to be a father. You made that decision yourself when you laid down with no protection. Just because you were both irresponsible then don't make the child pay for it

i am going to boston with my dad and my 8 year old daughter in late july. my son will be 5 and a half months old at that time. My boyfriend who i live with says i can leave him here with him instead of taking him and worrying about a baby. He's a great dad but im afraid i am going to miss him so much. I do have him 12 hours a day so maybe i shouldn't take him and have a break and spend quality time with my daughter and dad. What do others think? have they ever went away and left their baby?

She has been sleeping with my husband and I since she was 4 months. If I put her in the crib she screams, bangs her head and arms getting bruises. I have tried the Ferber method but she doesn't stop crying and she refuses to lay down. Any suggestions?

Me and my husband are actively trying to have a baby. We got really excited when I was four days late because in the past seven years, I've been regular and have never missed a day. Then on the fifth day I started my period. Needless to say I was crushed!!! My husband was let down as well. I don't know what to think? When I get cold (even if it is just a chill from air conditioning) my breasts and nipples ACHE LIKE THE DICKENS!!! Ghheeeesh! The only thing that helps ( I've tried many many things over the last 2 months - it started 2 months ago - I'm 5 months pregnant) is
to completely set the puppies (you know, the mams) free with no clothing touching them and rubbing them with warm dry hands or
just letting them be free until the pain subsides. Usually takes 3 - 20 minutes. Milk production should not hurt so dang bad! It HURTS!! I cried once or twice and I have a HIGH threshhold for pain. Please tell me what may work. My male doctor and male doctor husband cannot help...they're suggestions are...insufficient. Staying warm is a no-brainer, but not always possible.

My little girl is quite the tom boy. she swears and worst of all SPITS constantly. she did not get this at home, but probably picked it up at the kindergarden and i was warned by her kindergarden teacher that she has a very dirty mouth and that she is constantly picking at the kids, she even spit on her!!! i was most embarrassed by this but to tell you the truth, not as surprised and she does it to me all the time. i am a single mother and it is HARD right now, especially with there being 2 more children in the house. she is my youngest(4 years old), i also have a 5 year old boy and 9 year old twins. but she is the only one causing me such trouble. lately she's been getting hard spankings for spitting on myself and her siblings (its the only way to reason with her and the only thing thats worked) but 2 days removed i see i will have to use the wooden spoon on her again. she desperately needs a father to whoop her a** and show her discipline, but that isnt an option right now...
