Not much I guess. They just offered a column to arch-neocon and the MOST shameless Iraq war cheerleader, Bill Kristol. Perhaps he'll use it to spread more lies about "America's enemies", the way Miller and Bill Saffire did.

The Democrats won a majority in both houses in 2006, but now that their poll numbers are lower than Bush's, some Republicans seem to think this means people are siding with Bush over the Democrats?

The Dem majority has been trying to pass legislation they were elected to pass, but it get blocked by the Republicans and Bush who still have a lot of power...do you really think the public is turning on the Democrats they just elected because they are too liberal?! What "liberal" legislation have they passed that you think the public is against? The public is mad because they aren't stopping the war...

Guy brags about what a great businessman he is, so it would be good business to give himself more tax cuts, plus people will pay $millions for his ghost written memoirs and pay him big$$$ for speeches ( quid pro quo kickback)after being President.

So is Romney just spending money as an investment for himself,or do you really think he cares?

Osama Bin Laden the terrorist is safe in Pakistan.

Benazir Bhutto the democrat was not.

Osama Bin Laden is alive and free in Pakistan.

Daniel Pearl is not.

Neither Iran nor Iraq have nuclear weapons.

But Pakistan does.

Every time you ask yourself why US political leaders will not stand up to the Bush-Cheney regime, why impeachment is off the table, why the betrayal of US secret agent Valerie Plame's covert identity goes unavenged, why those who looked the other way while 9/11 went down, then lied us into war with Iraq (and attempted to lie us into war with Iran) continue to occupy positions of power and privilege, why violations of FISA, FOIA, the Geneva Accords, the Bill of Rights, etc., have gone on unchecked, why no one is under criminal investigation for obstruction of justice in the firing of the US attorneys or the theft of elections in 2000, 2002 and 2004; remember the beautiful face, passionate heart and eloquent tongue of Benazir Bhutto, remember too Yitzhak Rabin, and Jack and Bobby Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Omar Torrijos, and Anwar Sadat, and the answer will come to you.

They do not stand up because they are afraid.

She was not afraid.

Agree or disagree?

They collect huge amounts of tax on smokers and in the end it shortens lives reducing the amount of social security that needs to be paid out .
A win win for the government .

Now I wonder why they do not legalize pot .
Could it be every drug manufacturer and distillery in this nation and abroad is paying off the politicians to keep it illegal .

I am sure that pot will kill people the same as smoking , just wonder why its not legal ? Can you explain it with any logic at all .

If that be the case then why does one not have a choice to smoke a cigarette in some restaurants?

David Cameron today branded the Labour party hopeless. Do you agree? If so, why?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;jsessionid=WR55RQRZFRMRTQFIQMFCFGGAVCBQYIV0?xml=/news/2007/12/30/ncameron130.xml

David Cameron has branded Labour "second rate" and "hopeless" in key policy areas and vowed to offer the public hope in 2008 with his vision of Britain.

He attacked Gordon Brown's mismanagement of the NHS, his acceptance of mediocrity in education, and said the streets under Labour have been surrendered to violent criminals.

The Tory leader used his New Year's message to step up the pressure on the Prime Minister who enters January hoping to put a torrid three months behind him.

In contrast Mr Brown's message predicts a gloomy New Year as the country battles "global financial turbulence."

the "good old days" that we had under then President Bill Clinton? The Democrats say that we had such a boom economy under Clinton, but as the Bush economy slows, the "lowest since" marks are all compared to Clintons economy.
Why won't the Democrats admit that the economy has been setting strength records these past few years (as proven by statistics), instead of trying to downplay it as not as good as the Clinton economy?
