Guy brags about what a great businessman he is, so it would be good business to give himself more tax cuts, plus people will pay $millions for his ghost written memoirs and pay him big$$$ for speeches ( quid pro quo kickback)after being President.

So is Romney just spending money as an investment for himself,or do you really think he cares?

You need to look at how wealthy Romney is to realize the tax cuts he wants will make him money.

Romney has put in $17 million in his campaign. He could easily recoup that by lowering the top tax rate.

My guess is ego. Like many another rich guy who thinks his money proves him a genius.

He will surely miss even the nomination, being too much of a patent fake even for Republicans.

When all the dough he's spent on this race goes down the rathole, does his reputation as a great businessman remain?

Romney is a businessman who has invested many millions of his own dollars into this campaign, and he's not doing that because he's so civic-minded. He's doing that because he expects his investment to pay big profits.

I really hope he's disappointed.

It has more to do with legitimizing the charlatans in the Mormon cult than tax breaks...

But the idea of having a couple more wives is somewhat appealing...

Sounds like a little whining here. One thing that Romney brings to the plate is real executive leadership experience. He has the demonstrated skills that could very likely take this robust economy that "W" has built, and really take off with it. That would be good for all Americans.

Being the president does not include any tax benefits and the president cannot reduce or change any taxes by him or herself.
