Clarification: Republicoms have denied any hint of a recession; yet here lay before you another hint. Another BIG hint.

Yes. They often do as they fear discussion and awareness. I do not fear their fear so I will post on. YA backs them up at every turn.

Tisn't a "buyer's market" tisn't a market at all. No one has money to buy due to debt, low value of money, and loss of good jobs. The housing market is going to crash and take the rest of the economy with it.

Tis the Republicoms that love giving corporations free reign and political power. A little oversight over the financial institutions would have gone a long way.

Why should not Union workers make money as exec salaries have gone up 300%? Who is complaining about exect salaries vs Union salaries?

Why even bother asking this, they're all going to hide behind their typical "well that's just the way the market works" BS that they use every single time they're cornered. Uh huh..It could never ever have anything to do with Bush's horrible economy though. Yet, "the same thing happened in 1991-1992" when Bush Sr had an oil war going on. Some people never played the game "connect the dots" I guess.

Accroding to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Single Family Homes sales have been on a steady decline since 2005.

This decline is nothing new and the trends thru the years have not changed. For a few years the Sales will be on a steady increase then the sales drop off to balance the ecomomy.
Which is true in all business.

This is just another BUZZ topic to take the less informed off of the real issues at hand.

I would imagine that they play a role in this, but on the other hand we cant put the blame completely on the republicans, in my opinion, the blame should be directed more towards the big corporations that have the effect on our economy by sending jobs overseas, laying off employees and leaving them out to dry, and allot of the greedy unions who continue to be high in demand to the point of driving corporations and businesses out of such states as Michigan, how ever we also must put some blame on certain democrat leaders as well for allowing NAFTA to come in effect, considering this is the main factor effecting home sales decline and home foreclosures incline, we can expect to see this decline in our economy for decades to come
All in all, i don't think either party really cares just as long as their pockets continue to get filled with cash.
EDIT: Lets put it this way, not that union workers or should i say people of occupations that unions mainly to partake thier business in, but considering those who run unions always ask for more raises and always go on strike when a big disagreement between them and the corperations occurses, thus being that has lead to major busineses into taking thier business else where to save money to prevent overseas compitition from beating them out any further, im sure you and i can at least agree that something has to give somewhere, either no business and trade get done at all and we stop selling any forieghn vehicles and making foreighn vehicles in our country or that smaller wages get paid to new workers who replaced the laid off ones, am i in agreement with the way this is being ran? No, but i do state the facts and that both democrates and republicans alike partake in this economic issue, they just use thier disputes amoungst each other as political figures as a major cover up, when a democrat gets voted into office for the next term, and i say when because its a fact that they will since most of the country is sick of republicans running it, they will be making the same complaints about that democrat leader, but more likly on a diffrent level on some of the same issues and some diffrent issues, this has always been the way it was, and will always be, every class, every race, every political party supporter will always be dissatisfied, i see it for a fact right now that there are many liberals who dislike obama, why? because they dont really stand for what they say they do, how can you honestly be a libral but racist, there is too much hipprocracy in this country and too many fingers pointed at each other who are all blinded by some crooks in the white house and congress and allowing all us of to divide amoungst ourselfs for thier benefit.

I own my home but if I were buying i would buy a home that was a few years old. less expensive than the new ones anyway. So people have more of a choice since it is a buyers market right now.

Yes,it i a buyers market-in the Midwest.i have been looking at getting a larger home and the prices have fallen quiet a bit.

I feel just fine about it. To everything there is a season. Bad sub-prime loans helped bring about some of the problem. History repeats itself again. The same thing happened in 1991-92. Over priced houses, and a slowing economy. Do the math!

Do you Republican haters think everything should remain static and constant? Life doesnt work that way.

Example: Climate change.

I like the way you guys leave out facts like we have the highest home ownership in American history.

To answer your question;

This Republican is feeling good about the economy. The Dow Jones Stock Market is "UP" over seven percent this year, "Doom and Gloom" not hardly, but even twice a day a stopped clock is right.....Keep wishing.

Many Republicans, as well as Independents, wonder how stupid one would have to be to blame a political party for sales of new homes. Either you can afford one, or you cannot, and I for one, resent my tax money being used to bail out someone who didn't read the fine print on the adjustable rate mortgage agreement.
