Our soldiers are getting killed and maimed protecting our country. How can anyone think of cutting off the funds in the middle of a war? CAll you congressman and senators to tell them to fund the troops.

I'd give Huckabee another three weeks tops before his numbers start tanking. The religious right will do their best to hold the line but the real world will prevail in the end on the Huckabee issue.

Will Paul ever be afforded his fifteen minutes of fame in order to get a closer look at him? OR will the GOP political machine and Fox News do their best to blow him off?

"Al Gore is criticised for lining his own pockets after £3,300-per-minute green speech"

Gore charging £3300 a minute to give speeches on this Global Warming nonsense. Between that and his hypocrisy over him using a ridiculous amount of resources on his own house you would have to conclude that he is a joke.

I know it doesn't mean the cause is necessarily a joke. But he certainly is.

that if only an economy could be purified of any kind of restraints on the free market (for example labor unions or socialized medicine or history), then the free market would be able to perfectly gauge the value of any type of good or service, and therefore an economy would balance itself, and, most importantly, inflation would be controlled .....to essentially impoverishing the populace in order to bring them to heel.

Barack Obama has a sincere track record of working with both sides of the aisle, and I think he is sincere when he says he is tired of Blue States vs. Red States and wants to be the President of ALL Americans. Certainly, Hillary Clinton has a track record of being divisive and has a proven track record of paranoia ("the vast right wing conspiracy" that she keeps complaining is "out to get her").

But Hillary Clinton (and Bill Clinton) have at least gone on Fox News, with Chris Wallace, who is anything but a right-wing host.

They are the number one news organization in America, far surpassing CNN, CNBC, and the major networks combined.

So why is Barack so afraid to appear on Fox News? If Fox News frightens him so much, how can he claim to have what it takes to be President?

I actually think they'd give him a fair shake. Many of their conservative hosts have even credited Obama for running a brilliant and honest campaign.

So why he is so afraid to go on that network?

The US befriended communist China because it was an enemy to the Soviet Union, during the Cold war. Did the opposite ever happen?

I've heard vague answers like, "cuz they hate Bill Clinton" and even "because she's riding on her husband's coat tails" but, seriously, why does that mean she'll make a bad president? Or, better yet, why does that mean she'd be worse than Bush?!?!

I heard on the news that before the invasion there were 2 million Christians in Iraq and hundreds of churches. Now all the churches are empty or destroyed and most of the Christians have been killed or fled the country. What few Christians that are left are living in fear and hiding. The "religious cleansing" is being carried out by the Shia militia that the Bush administration is arming and supporting. Can anyone in Iraq confirm that this is true?

As you can see USA HAVE been investing here for YEARS..
QUOTE "Almost throughout the troubles, despite divisive splits over policy, Noraid has been raising money for Sinn Fein in the US. In the 1980s Noraid raised about $300,000 a year for Sinn Fein and a few years ago a New York fundraising dinner raised over $100,000. Today a similarly high profile event could raise many times that.
In 1982 Noraid co-founder Martin Flannery told a New York court he had supplied money for IRA arms since the late 1950s. Mr Flannery, who emigrated to America in 1927 after fighting for the IRA’s north Tipperary brigade in the civil war, said the bulk of the IRA’s arms and money since 1970 had come from America." Is it just me or do the neoconservatives of the Republican Party seem to want the US to become the next Nazi Germany. The policies they enact and the laws they want seem to change the US slowly into a modern day version of Nazi Germany with civil liberties being destroyed, a desire to eradicate those that they don't agree with, and a war to destroy a group that believes differently than they do all for the greater glory of their party.

I mean I know he is conservative, but he entered the race fairly late, he really has not spoken that much publicly and has not had so much publicity and no one really knows that much about him. Do you support him only because you do not like any of the other Republican candidates and he is your last hope?

WASHINGTON - NBC reversed course Saturday and decided to air a conservative group's television ad thanking U.S. troops.

The ad, by the group Freedom's Watch, asks viewers to remember the troops during the holiday season. NBC had refused to air the ad

NBC initially said that airing the spot would violate the network's prohibition on controversial issue ads
"I think they had an agenda," Blakeman said. "They didn't like our Web site and didn't like what we stood for."
