I've heard vague answers like, "cuz they hate Bill Clinton" and even "because she's riding on her husband's coat tails" but, seriously, why does that mean she'll make a bad president? Or, better yet, why does that mean she'd be worse than Bush?!?!

Also, I like Hillary, btw. I just didn't realize so many people dislike her until I started looking at the answers on this website.

I don't trust internet searches. There is so much biased and warped info online. Ever look into one of those think tank web sites? They post stuff as if it's FACT.

I think it is her personality mostly. If it were the Clinton era policies, failures, lies and wrongdoings, then we would not have voted for many elected officials and previous Presidents, who were just as bad and worse, like we did. Nobody is clean or clear. If it was for being a socialist, then people would hate Obama or Edwards just as much. But she is hated more than anybody. Bush senior was terrible and involved in things a President shouldn't have, and we still allowed the retarded son of his to be elected. It's got to be the uncharming personality of a smart woman who is no people person.

Many hate Hillary due the Clinton administration scandals of the 1990s. Also, Hillary's hard-line attempt at universal health care, was similiar to Bush's hard-line in Iraq, unwilling to make compromises to move things forward. Her decision to stay married to Bill Clinton (during all his past infidelities), seems to show her as calculating and not authentic. She ran for NY Senator when she didn't even live in NY. Now you see all the personal attacks against Obama from Hillary and her campaign, when she said just 2 months ago she's not interested in attacking fellow democrats. Most of Hillary's answers in public debates (and settings) have been fuzzy and not definitive with the exception of health care.

What in God's name is wrong with American people? Why all of a sudden Hilary Clinton is being hated? Could you compare her to Bush? Bush is the one who is being hated by 80% of Americans and about 92% of worldwide population. Why do you people have reverse mind deseas? Why is that in your heads good=bad and bad=good? Look what Bush and his administraion did to America. By now they almost destroyed our country the only thing is left of America it's our name.

The only reason why Hillary Clinton is now a senator of New York is because it was a large "blue state" that happened to have an open seat at the time.
If California had an open seat instead of New York you can bet she would now be the senator from California.
This shows me she only cares about her own political power and not about the people she is supposed to represent.
That is the main reason she will never get my respect.

I dont hate Hillary, I just think she is not the right person for the job. I look as whats best for this nation...not at Bush, or anyone else. Bush isnt even a factor in my mind. I want the next President to be the type of person who is going to have AMERICAS best interest at heart.... not their own.

She is hated because she is dishonest, maybe she picked up the trait from her husband. The Whitewater Scandal did not leave her in a good light at all. Some people, particularly women, have lost respect for her because she stayed with Bill despite his many extra-marital affairs.
Her performances in recent debates have not helped her either. When she changed her opinion in a matter of minutes involving Drivers license for illegal aliens, it made her look silly. She is constantly flip-flopping on the war. She bases her view on opinion polls. That is not what a leader does. She would be WAY worse than Bush ever thought about being.

A better question, why do you like her? She has been a crooked attorney, she made a mess of the education system in Arkansas that had no where else to go but up, but it didn't. She's a socialist. She and Bill have had very questionable dealings with China and that only scratches the surface of this person.

Reasons to hate Hillary Clinton:
-Using "planted" questions during her campaigning
-She is calling for socialism (her calls for "shared responsibility" and "economic inequality")
-Her trying to force us into Universal healthcare that was voted for in the 90's and defeated by a huge margin, 80% against)
-Her hiding the files during her husband's presidency and then they "appeared" in her office
-She got mad and fired all the people in the White House travel office for no reason
-Taking illegal funds from Mr. Hsu
Let's elect hillary and let another clinton make a joke out of the whitehouse.
