i wonder how long people will go on saying that she "wasn't an agent" at the time... because that's not what the current Director of the CIA says.
incidentally, the reason 41 thought it was a bad thing is because he used to BE the Director of the CIA.

George H. W. Bush was not an undercover agent as Plame was. Bush's association was well known at the time as he was the head of the organization. Also Plame was still employed by the CIA when Libby blabbed. Bush hasn't been an official employee of the CIa in decades so saying it now is harmless. Nice try but gotcha!!!

Excellent point. Bush and his cronies make up the rules as they go. Bush even freed the very man that obstructed justice to protect those who committed the treasonous act of exposing Plame.
The irony is Plame was the special agent assigned to monitor nuclear proliferation of rogue nations. Thus the Bush admin turned on a CIA agent who was protecting America from the very nukes Bush claims are a threat to all of mankind and civilization as we know it. Neo-cons support a traitor.
