I'd give Huckabee another three weeks tops before his numbers start tanking. The religious right will do their best to hold the line but the real world will prevail in the end on the Huckabee issue.

Will Paul ever be afforded his fifteen minutes of fame in order to get a closer look at him? OR will the GOP political machine and Fox News do their best to blow him off?

Ron Paul is a man with concrete ideas. In the cognitive developmental sense, he needs to get past that stage and move into the "formal operational stage" (During this time, people develop the ability to think about abstract concepts. Skills such as logical thought, deductive reasoning, and systematic planning also emerge during this stage.) His must see his world like a horse with blinders. I just don't think his views are realistic for our global markets. I'm hoping Ron Paul bows out soon.

No. The purpose of fringe candidates like Paul (or Gravel, on the other side), is to attract fringe voters. The Republicans would never nominate Paul, but, they hope the if you get excited about his running, that you will transfer some of that enthusiasm (or at least, enough grudging support to actually vote), to the actual nominee when Paul endorses him for the actual election.

And, no, the mainstream media will not pay any attention to him - other than to make fun of him, maybe.

Now that Ron Paul has been in the single digits for over a year, will his supporters give up?

I've heard the giving up ceremony involves special cool-aid.

Ron Paul is at about 5%. Suppose his support doubles, 10% is not going to cut it.

Dr. Paul will never be taken seriously. Doesn't matter who tanks. This man has no hope of winning the Republican candidacy.

Well let's just hope that doesn't happen. I'm too old to learn Arabic (that will become our national language), and we will all have to rename our teddy bears.
