my first day in office I would pull our troops out Iraq and let the Iraqis take care of thier own problems. The second day I would outlaw any imports of foreign oil and reopen all the oil fields in the USA. Day 3 I would do away with the free trade agreement and make walmart sell only products made in the USA so the american workers could get manufactuer jobs, I would restructure the prison system, and make them work a hard job so that they pay for the prison system instead of it all coming out of the taxpayers pockets. There would be major welfare reform, if they are getting money from the government they would have to at least pick up garbage off the side of the road or something, there would be no more free rides. I would place a tax on alcohol that would make alcohol too expensive for the normal person. I would make a law that would make employers give health insurance to all workers regardless of how many hours they work , too many companies keep thier employees hours between 30 and 36 hours so they don't have to pay benefits. Then I would attack the credit card companies for charging someone 29 percent interest for being late with one payment. Also would do an audit and find out where every single dime of government is spent and hold those in charge accountable for any shortages or mis-use. I could go on for hours about what I would do, but I would make sure Number one that no more soldiers would die in the streets of IRAQ. We have aircraft carriers that can easily whip anyones butt without endangering any of our troops. Abortion would also become illegal, if they don't want the child there are plenty of people who are willing to adopt. Gay rights? we'll that's thier choice, but marriage between gay couples I would not condone. Yes they can have a few rights, but not total rights like collecting thier partners social security. Stem Cell research I would fully fund, if something can be cured i say cure it. lastly I would legalize Marijuana. too many criminals are making way too much money off of something we could easily grow ourselves and that billions of dollars could be spent on education. Ok thats all I have to say .. I will wait and see all the thumbs down ratings i get now

To keep this short. If I wanted something passed that would better America and her people as a whole and it was shot down, then I would keep submitting it over and over and over until it was accepted. At least the American people would know I tried to keep my promise.

I find it ridiculous and a sign of weakness that people in positions of leadership cave in.

First thing I would do is ban all political parties because it exploits the innate behavioral grouping mentality in humans. People are voting on individuals, which the party system is unnecessary and exploits the system.

This is probably to most important thing that needs to be done to prevent America from reverting back into an exploitable position.

Lets see:

Get religion out of politics, aka make sure that evangelical groups are permanently shut down to restore the sacredness of the separation of church and state. Restore the EPA to what it was, bring back full funding for the Border Patrol and INS, go after companies that hire illegal immigrants, renegotiate trade deals so that they are beneficial to American companies and workers, give Bush and Cheney to the war crimes tribunals, try to restore America's standing in the international community, rebuild the tax system to get rid loopholes for the rich, make the minimum wage a true living wage of at least $10/ hr, go after extremist groups here at home and abroad, end useless wars, repeal any laws banning abortion, enact new laws allowing stronger penalties against rapists and abusers especially those in religious positions. Make sure that wildlife preserves like the ANWAR in Alaska can never be used as sources for oil. If I can think of anything else I'll let you know.

Fire everyone from me down and hold an emergency voting with 1 rule. May not have been either a lawyer or a businessman/woman. We need a person.....Of the people, By the people and For the people. Look at our history back to FDR. We haven't had a president yet that hasn't screwed the american middle class and continues to this day. As long as Lawyers and businessman runs the helm, we are fodder and our only input is taxes.

but what do I know?

Remove all forms of lobbyist from our country! ( Your vote with your mind and your heart, NOT YOUR BACK POCKET! )

Amendments shall only be added to the bill if they pertain to the bill at hand! ( Helps remove pork barrel spending. )

All amendments shall have a 30 day waiting period before they are set in motion to be voted on. ( This allows the people to review the amendment, and see how their elected official votes on the amendment. )

Lower congress pay to 30k to start out! 40k tops? Higher a group of people that our only on hand to answer question about subject matter, that is to hard for the normal working man to understand,

All of congress shall be required to vote, even if out of state!

All of congress shall have there vote record; and that vote shall be made available to the public when cast.

Roads shall be required to have a number assigned to them before they our built. Major City would be a level five.... So that when something is changed, it is changed per the level.
North Richland Hills put up a new bridge on Ruff Snow in Fort Worth, Texas. This new bridge does not allow for six lanes, unless they rip into the foundation of the bridge. We need six lanes for 820 in North Fort Worth. Thus if the bill was in place, the bridge would have been made so that things can change around it. Instead of having to rip into the bridge!

Just a few things on my dish.....

Btw folks, the president has a lot of power and only requires that he weld it properly. This can all be achived if things are put in check. The TV is one way to put a disgruntle congressman in check!!!

I would probably be dead within a week.

The first thing I would do is set wheels in motion to get rid of the Federal Reserve (which is neither Federal, nor a Reserve, and also the reason why Kennedy was assassinated).

The second thing I would do is kick all of the people getting disability for being fat, a druggie or an alcoholic out of the program.
