In fact, he received not only student deferments, but requested deferment as a law clerk, which he received. As an aside, assuming you approve of his political positions or believe that his behavior during and just after 911 was laudatory, does anyone think that his poor relationships with past wives and current children is a strong negative to becoming president or is a reflection on his character. Or are these things all passe and of no consequence?

Yes, Bill Clinton and a few others in the Democratic party have had their own breeches, but in 'Republicanville'... it's an epidemic. And not over the course of decades, but every few weeks or months... there's ANOTHER one!

Given the party's stance on family values, and against gay marriage, pederasty, etc... why is this avalanche of illicit behavior happening within the party?

Who has the time or inclination to be voting on questions that are months old? I actually got one last week that was a YEAR old. Does anyone else find this odd?
