That some day the government will become tyrannical and I will have many things to hide, like thinking independently and not following the party line.

If the laws that allow constant surveillance are in place, anyone who comes into power can use them. Anyone.

That's what brainless, brainwashed idiots who support the patriot act say....I'm guessing you love to have people listen in on your personal calls, watch you while you have sex with your boyfriend/girlfriend, masturbate in the shower, talk dirty to phone sex operators....yeah..I wouldn't imagine you have anything to hide....It's not that most people are afraid of the government finding something...that's just a stupid @ss excuse you Rep's/cons try to use to justify it.....In the mean time all of us other piss-ants think we still have a thing called a RIGHT TO F**KING PRIVACY.
