It just tells me that human beings as a race are inherently greedy, self absorbed, and corrupt.
When they get their dirty little mitts on power, they just become absolutely corrupt.
The choice voters have is to try and figure out who will be just a little less corrupt and incompetent than the other corrupt and incompetent candidates.

The number of scandals is more even than you try to represent. I don't know it for a fact, but it would not surprise me to find there are more democrat scandals than republican ones. For the sake of arguement though, I will accept the more republican scandal scenario.
Don't look so much at the number, but at how they are handled. When dems get caught, they rally around the perp, spin, point fingers elsewhere, and otherwise duck, dodge and hide, until the scandal is replaced by other news.
Republican, not always, but more often, distance themselves from the perp who becomes a party outcast. So while I don't want anyone with a wide stance in the stall next to mine in the mens room. Neither do I want a congressman to abuse the priviledges of his office to hide ill gotten cash in his official safe, but the dems I guess are only concerned about gay trolling.

Interesting you bring that up, the last time we had a Democrat in the White house we got to see a new scandal every week.
That pederasty part, just who was the pederast you speak of?
If you say Mark Foley, you know that's a lie, although it is unethical to hit on a page, his page was of age. Unlike Democrat Jerry Studds, his page was just 17. Being Gay, I dislike it when we are cast as pederasts when it isn't the case.

You are saying they were telling the truth & have changed. Nothing has changed. They have always been human just like everyone else. Anyone who believes that one party is better than another cause they don't have sex with people they are attracted to is fooling themselves. We are sexualy creatures & different people are attracted to different people. This has nothing to do with politics. The republican party causes more deaths, more welfare, more war injured, more abortions than dems do because they love war, they don't want people to have health care or enough money to survive & they believe the greedy deserve it all. That is the difference in the parties. Nothing to do with family values. When the republican I know have a kid who needs money that do the same things dems do. They either decide the kid has to struggle & learn to manage on their own or they pay their way. There is no difference. My republican neighbors put a down payment on their daughters house they pay her air fare to visit they are always paying for their kids. I couldn't afford to put my son through colledge so he got scholorships, he worked for a business that paid, he took loans, My republican friends think he is the greatest cause he works so much but he likes to work. He loves education & physical work. It has nothing to do with him being a liberal & their kids who are not as ambitious being republicans. So this differences are just ridiculous BS ways for republicans to think they are better than dems. I am not going to act like my son is ambitious because of our party it has nothing at all to do with it...except I didn't tell him what he should be...I told him to do what he loved & the money would follow. My rep. freinds tried to control their kids & told them to do certain things which were not in harmony with their kids.

A few other democrats?? LOL. Bill was the least of your mistakes. Hillary is the big bomb in your party. Is she really the icon of the democratic party? Is she your face? She lies. She steals. She cheats. She can't answer straight. What more could we ask for in a President. lol.
To answer your question. People are people. Controlling thousands of members of the republican party is impossible. We don't control them. I understand that when people are elected into the halls under the democratic party they are implanted with a chip that keeps them in line with the platform (that would be the cheating, stealing...), but we in the GOP find that too controlling. We will let people be people. If you are so narrow minded that you cannot separate the person from the party, you shouldn't be stepping into a polling booth. If we should be doing that, then I would have to believe everyone in the democratic party is as shady as Senator Clinton. Would that be fair?

It speaks to the downfall of the party due to acceptance of corrupt, evangelical and neocon values over the values of the moderate part of the party. Since the party core is controlled by individuals like Rove, Bush, Delay, Cheney and others like them that prefer corruption, fear mongering and partisanship over working with the other side and uniting the nation instead they wish to keep the nation permanently divided to the point where they would prefer to see the elimination of the
Democratic party and an end to democracy as a whole.

A lot less than the Clinton Cabinet who had the most scandals and indictments in history.
To this day the democrat party twists and ducks and outright lies to attain power - at any cost. To this day, the Clintons are corrupt in their campaigning. What would happen if they are back in the whitehouse? More indictments? More sex in our public establishments? More corruption?
It's all documented.

It says that the economy is in trouble. Normally, Republicans are able to pay off all their informants but, now with the dollar weakening, that hush money isn't worth as much. You couple that with the Republicans trying to stretch out their dollar value and you get people coming out of the woodwork to tattle. I think, the lesson here is that Republicans need to be a little less miserly when they pay people off.

All parties have skeletons in their closets but I have to tell you what, it's mostly the republican party that pays for what they have done. The slimy democrats from racist to murderer continued to stay in office no matter what was said. Most republicans will relinquish their seats, democrats blame, blame, blame and they could care less what anyone thinks and still stays in their position.
Now you tell me which party is more ethical. It's a no brainer for me and it sure as hel* is NOT the democrats.
Look at the flaws within your own party and see how many has accepted responsibility for their actions compared to a republican.
