I don't listen to Limbaugh and rarely tune in to O'Reilly, but lately, any time you turned on cable news, one certainly couldn't help but get an ear full. This is one of the reasons why I prefer READING various sources.

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2007/09/30/group-behind-smear-campaigns-against-limbaugh-o-reilly
I get most of my information from written sources. Don’t listen to Rush and rarely tune into O’Reilly. When I do tune into TV news, I tend to bounce around and of course couldn’t help but notice the latest ‘targets’.

Excerpts:
Last week, two of the leading conservatives in the media, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly, were dishonestly and unprofessionally attacked by press outlets that cherry-picked out of context remarks from lengthy radio broadcasts in order to vilify outspoken personalities whose opinions they don’t agree with.
Unfortunately, as folks around the country saw this play out on their television sets and newspapers, few were at all familiar with the organization behind the smear campaigns, or that this same group started the firestorm which ended with radio host Don Imus being terminated by NBC and CBS in April.
Maybe more importantly, even fewer citizens are aware that this organization is linked directly to Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as billionaire leftist George Soros.

Now we all know that politics is dirty and both sides play the game. But wouldn’t you agree that Soros is playing quit the role in our political situation? Of course the Clintons being tied into this, doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone, does it?

Your opinions are looked forward to, as always.

Accounting for interest, and inflation, the average tuition will at least double in 20 years. 40 grand sounds about right, as, tuition around 2028 at a public institution should be around 80,000 by then. She needs a new economist on her staff.

Heres the more broad question,

A candidate who rejects scientific theories when they are in direct contradiction of the Bible.

This candidate does not keep these beliefs private but instead announces that (s)he rejects these modern scientific theories.

Qualification: The candidate states that (s)he does not want to force the Bible into the public schools, rather wants to keep religion out of the public schools.

The 'Troop Surge' is working and working great so far . Civilian casualties from sectarian violence and Al Quada has dropped dramatically . Out of over 500 regions , there's less than 20 which still have significant troubles. . . . and those are improving as we speak . Less troops are getting killed and injured despite cries from the left that said "More troops , more deaths' . Even the left-wing media outlets have stopped denying the progress for fear of losing what little credibility they have left . It's working and there's not a damm thing anyone can say to dispute that fact .
If you are honest , yet haven't found the right opportunity to display that honesty , well here's your big chance .. . . . . or are you willing to lose whatever little credibility that YOU have left ?

Hillary has proposed giving every newborn $5000 to be held in escrow until they're 18 . Hillary asserts that this money will go for their college education . But what she doesn't tell you is that this money is not earmarked or regulated . In other words , each 18 yr. old can spend it on anything they want !!
Many people are against the idea on the grounds that they aren't willing to have their taxes go for someone elses kid to go to college . But even if you do support it on these grounds , you really need to learn what it really is .. . . .a Bank Account for cell-phones , cars , jewelry , ipods , video games , TV's , etc . I assumed that list to be true , but I decided to post a question about it in 'Polls and Surveys' to see if my assertions were correct . And below you will find a link to my question and the proof of what teenagers would spend their $5000 on .

After reading the answers. . .. . Now what do you think ?

As I recall, there were massive protests in Baghdad AGAINST Bush's "liberation".

But now, in Burma, thousands of monks and ordinary citizens are be killed simply for having the courage to stand up for freedom.

And where is America?

A lot of people, including Ron Paul for instance, like to say we caused 9/11 by "meddling" in the middle east. What did we do wrong there? Was it wrong to encourage freedom? Was it wrong to help them build medical schools and a public education system? Was it wrong to assist them with their public water and sewage systems? We're we wrong in opposing extremist that want life as it was in the 700 AD period of history? Are we wrong to support people who oppose stoning women to death because they went outside with out a man or a burkha? What extactly was it that we did wrong that justified their attack on the United States?

For those of you who brush off America's new policy of torturing prisoners … I ask, what if those pictures of Abu Ghraib were American prisoners and Iraqi guards? What if the Iranians were setting up secret prisons full of Americans? What if North Korea set up a prison like Guantanamo full of Americans? How would you feel about that?

Do you realize that by justifying American torture, you justify Americans being tortured?
