Jesus was a peaceful man. I doubt he'd be involved in politics. It's hard to be in politics (at the national level) and still have integrity and honesty.

Jesus refused a seat on the Sanhedrin. He wouldn't be running for a political office. If history serves me, he was not into popularity contests.
One thing for certain, Jesus never said "draw your swords and make the wealthy feed the poor", just as he never said "Invade thy neighbor".
Besides, Why would Jesus seek a demotion. Lets see, I can be the Prince of Peace (seated and the right hand of God), or i I rule one nation...

Jesus would view both party's politicians as he did any other Roman.
i'd definitely vote for him, because he definitely did not believe in persecution of non-believers, as modern day fundies do, he believed in being a teacher and setting the example, something political religious types don't understand.
If he did that fish and bread thing again, modern day republicans would shun him as a socialist.

Jesus was not a political figure. Never tired to be.
How ever, he loved all people. especially he showed deep concern for the poor, sick and needy. But He also spoke against compulsion. So He would not forcefully take money away from people and give it to others , so he can not be a democrat..
He would have avocated that the local community take care of the local people. He would prefer Churches to distribute to the poor and needy and the Libs would sue Him

Jesus owns the world. He would just come back with a shout of acclimation and bring a thousand year reign of peace.

He would most likely side with the G O P on the abortion issue, but would run as a democrat due to the Killing and Lying policies of the G O P. Even Jesus would know that one good point doesn't erase all the bad

He would be independent and not win because of the corrupt system that doesn't let a third party enter unless they are a billionaire like Perot.
