Ray N, it's obvious that you don't like us British or the Europeans, but don't tar everyone with the same stick, maybe the Brit's that you live and work with are as sick of you as you are of them, you are not exactly the sociable type are you? but seriously though you must have picked a rotten part of Britain to live in ( probably inner city England, lol, I don't blame you for being depressed ) pack your job in, and go north of the border to Scotland, and breath in the fresh air, it's the most beautiful sight to see, the clean air/hills and glens, definitely a mood lifter.
Way to go grumpyoldman!!!!!!!

i % to concentration on the possibility of McCain interior the Presidency. those are his good words: "became the conflict a sturdy concept, nicely well worth the cost in blood and treasure? It became a sturdy concept President Bush observed our staying in Iraq for fifty years consistent with possibility one hundred, that's superb with me i do no longer think of human beings are in contact if we are there for one hundred years, or 1000 years, or 10000 years." that's lots extra scarier then Obama do no longer you think of? I truly have seen those that i understand as being Republican posting a number of those anti Obama and Clinton questions and suspect that they % human beings too distracted to contemplate what a McCain victory will mean. it is named "Divide and triumph over" tactic and that i'm bored stiff with it. The Republicans are final rank and could vote by way of their occasion line to win. The link below is to a youtube video the place you are able to hear McCain say what I truly have quoted right here. I totally anticipate to get a lot of thumbs down for saying actually what the Republicans do no longer % you to contemplate.

No, that's stupid....if we leave Iraq now or in ten years, the results will be the same...liberal politicians want the war to continue through the election season, as it is a black eye for Republicans. While Americans aren't happy that the war is still going on, they are not going to turn around and vote for the people who started it in the first place.

70% of Americans want us to get out of Iraq ASAP.
Why?
Because they would prefer to spend our tax dollars here at home instead of spending it on another country.
Because they see the truth---that Boy George only invaded Iraq for self-centered reasons based mostly on trying to get to the Iraqi oil reserves for his Oil Buddies.
Because most Americans think trying to force "democracy" on a people at the end of a gun is hypocritical and pretty much impossible.

This isn't some stupid football or baseball game. I want America to pull out of Iraq so people quit getting killed over a failed policy. The US went into Iraq for the wrong reasons, we have stayed there for the wrong reasons. If you think we need to send young men and women to die and be wounded in Iraq just so we have bragging rights to some Europeans, you have seriously screwed up priorities.

You can let the political hacks throw your Tax money away in Iraq or YOU can decide that those trillions should be spent on America's needs and in house priorities. Just think what they could do with your taxes if they decided to fix America's infrastructure and bring good jobs back to America.

Why are conservatives and neo cons answering this bogus question. Fact: Liberals do not hate America and it is time to stop parroting this ridiculous statement in almost every neo con question and resulting answers. If liberals hated America we would have thrown your sorry butts out of the country long ago. But we respect the law and the political process of the country, unlike our current (R) president who lied us into his war. You know, the war that would put him in the history books forever!

They don't care whether we stay or leave, It's for power in the government. BUt thank god Hillary and Obama are now saying that the war will most likely go on throughout the next presidential term. They have learned from the mid terms and aren't making promises they know thay can't keep. As much as i hate war, I'm glad we are trying to finish this one responsibly. because the last thing I want is for our soldiers to go back in another 10 years because the job wasn't finished the second time around.

Noooo, I want us to pull out of Iraq because I'm tired of seeing our young people die and our tax dollars wasted on a fruitless war on behalf of people who will hate us anyway, no matter what we do. Almost half the children in this country have no health insurance, people are losing their homes, jobs are disappearing, and we're pouring money into a hellhole on the other side of the world, killing ourselves and the locals, for what?? So Dick Cheney's Halliburton stock will keep increasing in value?

Lost is allowing Osama to be free for so long during a war on terror.
Lost is trying to fight people who fight from the shadows, with guerilla style tactics as if they were fighting ground wars out in the open.
Lost is listening to your president say that your anti-terror legislation is too weak, and not doign anything about it until after 9/11/2001.
