It seems to be a bit of over simplification to me to deny that even though Obama attends the Church of Christ, his beliefs will not be true to the upbringing he had with a Muslim father. Can anyone say emphatically that thier own upbringing did not greatly influence thier lives?

I've attended:Baptist,Catholic,Lutheran,Church of Christ,and non-denominational churches.What would I be considered?
Maybe if I were to run for the presidancy, people would be interested in knowing what faith I was brought up with during my formative years?

Those of you who say he isnt Muslim are obviously talking about the wrong person. He is definitely from Muslim descent, and thats all the proof I need to not want him as President of these United States.

His father is a Muslim but Obama was raised and is Christian. Even though I am no fan of his church (which preaches separation of races) and his campaign, I want to compete fairly and say to truth about him.

note the tone of the lie about obama by this poster.
this poster matter of factly states a complete lie about obama - exactly the same kind of thing that de-railed mccain's campaign in 2000 - a lie about a baby born out of wedlock - who as it turns out was an adopted child.
any who wonder why all of the dem candidates won't have anything to do with fox news need only look at this 'question.'

Barak Obama is not a Muslim.
And I think all political candidates should not be allowed to discuss their religion, ever. Religion has NO place in politics.
I'm going to make up my own unfounded rumor. Mitt Romney is a cross-dresser and does a Judy Garland drag act three nights a week in Provincetown. It's not true, but what does that matter? Quick! Gimme a job at Fox News! I'm qualified now!

For one million time, Barack Obama is NOT a muslim. He lived in Jakarta when he was a child in 1960s, that's all.

he's not muslim, he went to a muslim school when he was young. Obama is actually a born-again, but he's not crazy like Bush. He does a great job leaving his personal beliefs out of his solutions, its unfortunate he doesn't have enough experience to be president.
