the unique concept of our shape and our bill of rights replaced into based upon the concept-appropriate to the supremacy of the guy. If the 1st attention of government is for the guy..... ALL persons..... then no one gets exceeded over of any earnings or detriment the government enacts. on the different hand liberalism is predicated upon concerns being utilized to communities..... to a definite phase of our inhabitants, yet to no longer others..... based upon some nebulous would desire to benefit or to punish. interior the 1st case no one gets excluded. interior the 2d case exclusion, no longer equality, is the point. only have a severe look at what the liberals here on YA say, and what they help. it isn't any longer equality. They help the two reward or outcomes being utilized or offered to precise segments of our inhabitants, yet to no longer all. this is preferential treatment for some, yet no longer for all. If our perfect government is one that treats all of us the two then it can not be a liberal one for that must be one wherein liberals could and do oppose.

I watch Matthews on a regular basis and I've heard him opine about this before. What he means about Republicans is clear, what he means about Democrats requires a little more explanation. He means that Democrats like to work together in coming to decisions - they like meetings and committees and a melding of the minds versus Republicans who prefer to have a leader that they just get behind and hope for the best. As an Independent, I hope for a melding of the two. I think we need both approaches - a leader definitely, but a leader willing to listen to those who have reached a consensus and offer a different perspective for the leader to consider along with her/his own conclusions.

Anyone with a modicum of intelligence will know that the two are not mutually exclusive. I've never been in a meeting where the person who was running it didn't lead it. I want someone who will take all the facts into consideration before making a decision, but then who will be willing to stick by that decision. However, if it becomes obvious to everyone that the decision was the wrong one, I want someone who will be strong enough to admit their mistake, and take a new course.

Matthews statement makes sense to me.
Republicans NEED a new leader to change the direction of this nation toward a CAREFULLY thought out and well plotted new course .
The Democrats simply all have the same Marxist/Socialist playbook. They only need to meet to figure out how to best disguise their objectives.

Give me a leader every time. We can't give all of our intel to the general population for them to reach an informed decision. Give the decision to a democratically elected leader and hope that he/she has the ability to lead, even if the choise is unpopular.

I want a person who will do the job they swear under oath to do. I voted for Mr. Bush but I'm not happy because after 9/11 we still have WIDE OPEN BORDERS. He is letting in illegal democratic voters. The Dems pander to these "CRIMINALS".
Just do your G Damn job is all I'm asking these yahoos to do.

I can't believe the quote is correct. Chris Matthews is a left wing Liberal. He does he best to show as much Liberal bias as possible on his show.

He makes a good point. Republicans see things in a more black and white way. Democrates want consensus. I prefer leadership from a president, I guess Reagan spoiled me.

What he meant is that the Republicans don't have any real leaders in their field of candidates running for President.

We've learned that Republican leadership is disastrous, so this is a blessing and a break for our nation. Nobody questions anything strong Republican leaders do or say and people follow their misguided leader off a cliff like lemmings.

The Democrats want to get down to business and try to clean-up the colossal mess the Republicans have made of the country and the world. It's going to take a meeting of the greatest minds of this generation and the next to fix.
