I have seen many questions about Bush and Cheney's military record , and see other posts about Republicans that did not serve in the military. Does this fact mean they should NOT have brought us to Iraq? I am confused, do you see it as hypocrisy that you should have served in the military to be Commander In Chief. There ARE many Democrats/libs that served this country, and I thank them for that. Are there not also many cons/rep that have done the same? McCain, Dole, etc.
Thank You for Your time.

Will he hide on his ranch in Crawford, Texas or run like a coward that he has been all his sad excuse of a life to Paraguay where he has been granted immunity from extradition for possible war Crime Charges. I think he should never show his face in public again in the United States as he has proven to be the most hated American in the World as well as in the United States. Better off to do a favor to the United States and leave as he has embarassed the United States and made them perhaps one of the most hated nations on earth in just 6 1/2 short years.

" Senator McCarthy frequently threatened witnesses with prosecution for contempt, but all cases were either thrown out of court or overturned on appeal. No one who appeared before McCarthy’s subcommittee was imprisoned for anything related to their testimony. However, many lost their jobs for declining to answer the subcommittee’s questions."

Face it, politics are polarized. You are either left-winged or right-winged. With the character assassinations, smear campaigns and other means of power-snatching propaganda from both sides, is there really much of a difference. Or in other words does it make a difference to vote Republican or Democrat verses this candidate or that candidate? Maybe division amongst the voters is the good way to keep your agenda(s) in play and get your self in office?

Murtha: "One man, he said, was blinded and lost both his hands but had been denied a Purple Heart because friendly fire caused his injuries.

"I met with the commandant. I said, 'If you don't give him a Purple Heart, I'll give him one of mine.' And they gave him a Purple Heart," said Murtha, who has two"

Why does the GOP bash and smear so many vets who served with honor?

Why does the GOP worship their cowardly leaders who never served and who send others to die for their lies?

The conservative claim that the media is liberally biased comes from the personal political leanings of the people reporting the news, and not from their reports themselves?

I didn't realize until yesterday that people were basing the media's so-called "political bias" on the fact that leading anchorpeople or owners of news outlets donate money to particular political campaigns, and not on what is said while the news is being reported.

That said, does that mean that you guys think that people involved in the media aren't entitled to the same rights as everyone else?

And are you, personally, able to keep your politics out of your workplace?

I am.

"California Assembly Denies In-state Tuition To Military"

"Higher Education Commitee denies Assemblyman Mark Wyland’s request to put guardians of our freedom before illegals

Sacramento - The Assembly Higher Education Committee today rejected a bill (AB 2472) authored by Assemblyman Mark Wyland (R-74) that would have rescinded the law allowing illegal aliens to pay in-state tuition and eliminated the one-year residency rule for reservists and veterans and their dependents needed to qualify for in-state tuition. Mr. X, head of the opposition party has mysteriously disappeared and has not been seen for 2 weeks. Rumors are swirling that the President has had him arrested and sent to a concentration camp overseas. But the President and his administration have said repeatedly they do not know of Mr. X's whereabouts, and scoff at the idea they would have anyone kidnapped saying "Would we do something that blatantly against the constitution and blatantly illegal?" The american people soon forgot about it and were more concerned about watching american idol. Soon after that a preemptive attack/invasion was made on country Z cause they were believed to be close to having nukes and not liking the USA. Later no nukes were found during the occupation, but hey the adminstration said "Mistakes can be made ..no one is perfect".
