The difference between a Republican and a Democrat. A shining example actually!
Ironic Republicans say this to Murtha:
"In a biting response, Republicans criticized Murtha's position as one of abandonment and surrender and accused Democrats of playing politics with the war and recklessly pushing a "cut and run" strategy.
"They want us to retreat. They want us to wave the white flag of surrender to the terrorists of the world," said House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill."
somebody should have reminded House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill that there were no terrorist in Iraq before we attacked it, and they had nothing to do with 9/11! God, can't Republicans do something other than lie, and then lie again to cover up the first one?
The only "Cut and Runners I know of are Nixon in Vietnam and Reagan ran after Hezbollah, at the behest of Iraq, bombed a barracks in Beirut and killed 242 Marines! Then Reagan was such a nice guy he sold Iran missiles and was involved in Iran/Contra. Another president who should have been impeached!

Cheney could have offered his support and his loyalty. Sorry, Cheney wins! Apparently, Murtha has not only given away both of his purple hearts, but his real heart as well. His cut and run, redeploy to Okinawa, and slow-bleed the troops strategy shows he has as much heart as the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz."

Was one of them a victim of Murtha's witch hunt regarding Haditha?
Murtha may be in very very hot water there.

How about some leadership skills? That would be a benefit to anybody. Murtha is a good leader and I'm sure he'll be remembered as such. Right up there with John Kerry.

What a pathetic fall from grace for Murtha. I would have refused to even let him see me.
