America didn't invade Iraq for the oil...the oil is now in the hands of European businesses. They invaded Iraq to overthrow a tyrany that had used WMD's, that were supporting terrorism against America and it's allies, and which had attempted the assasination of an American president.
Oil was a consideration in the decision, but not the target.
Remember, there is as much oil in Canada as there is in Saudi Arabia, yet no-one is invading Alberta.

No I do not think the USA has run out of oil, nor do I think that we invaded Iraq because of oil. Exactly how much oil have we been able to extract from that decimated nation? The infrastructure is still buried in the dust. I believe that Bush invaded Iraq for his own personal vanity, and to get his image made over and over for the media.
How many times do you think this has happened since the invasion. Good news or bad, it's all the same to Bush as long as he has the opportunity to look straight into the camera and deceive all of you who believe his crooked lies.

We have no ran out of oil and no we didn't invade Iraq for the oil. If we were going to do that, we should have let Saddam have Kuwait first, then take the whole shibang.
Not to mention the fact there are still places that could be drilled but because of the attempts to preserve nature they have not been.
Plus, we have corn! I seen it with my eyes!

I think the USA had about the same amount of oil it had before (enough to supply 40% of our needs) but I think we did invade Iraq for oil but we were lied to by Bush and company so he could have his war.

America produces about 40% of it's own oil consumption. Much of the US oil supply much of the US oil imports comes from Canada, Mexico, and Venezula. Oil imports from Iraq only accounts for about 7to 8% of US oil imports.

we are able to stay the path until hell freezes over. No drilling for oil allowed. If we could desire to constantly run out, Obama will in basic terms wave his magic wand and presto, green capability will sprout with super abundance and we are able to all stay thankfully ever after. playstation in basic terms how plenty oil have we gotten from Irak so some distance?

We did it because the oil in Iraq is vastly cheaper to access. The U.S. has shale oil, but that's very expensive to extract and process.
Of course, it wasn't for the U.S. to claim the oil -- it was for private corporations to claim it. Why else would the top priority for the U.S. be getting the Iraqi legislature to pass a law allowing foreign companies untaxed oil leases?

Who said the USA is out of oil? I have never heard anyone say this. I suppose all the talk about drilling in Alaska was to drill for pancake syrup?
Nice try.

Canada has more oil than Saudi Arabia. Canada is also the number one foreign supplier of oil to the U.S..
Canda and U.S. are good friends.
Around 30% of the gasoline used in America comes from U.S. oil.
