Which reminds me, If Republicans do so love America, why do they resort to lying about democrats who actually DO SOMETHING other than spit on their fellow Americans who are not rich?
i.e. "Why do Democrats like to keep people poor and dependent?"

Better question: Why Do Republicans feel the need to spread deliberate lies about a party that follow Christs teachings better than they EVER WILL?

I have a few theories on this:
1- We have a $10Billion-a-month disaster in Iraq
2-Republicans are world class moral hypocrites
3-Republicans are world class moral hypocrites
3-Republicans are world class moral hypocrites
4-Next year is an election year.

Some "party of values" we have here with GOP, no?

" The Educational System is Failing, HERE is my solution"

Or "Poverty is increasing, HERE is my solution"?

I've never heard this, the majority of "questions" here seem to be nothing more than complaints about whatever the Democrats are doing, but NEVER are any real solutions put forward.

I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.

So, many people hate him. Some people think he's tolerable. Then there's the people who adore him, for reasons unknown to me. Anyone care to explain this love for our current president? What has he done that makes him so much better than any other president we've had?

Why do conservatives think that if you do not think like them that you are liberal, when in America there are many independent and libertarian thinkers?
Or, do conservatives not think but mindlessly agree with whatever their leaders tell them?

*I have already posted this question a few times, but I have not seen it show up. So if this is your 3rd time seeing this, sorry.

This is not a dems vs republican question. I really want to know how many of you actually think Bush has done a good job, and why? He has a pretty low approval rating. I would like to know why those of you who approve of him do so? what makes him a good president? (on his own, not compared to other presidents)

What is your real opinion about the troubles that the Republicans are having right now? There is unrest in the ranks because you don't have a candidate that you all can get behind. Truly, and not trying to ruffle any feathers, there is a perception of corruption in general coming from the White House. Your congressional members are grumbling about Bush and Iraq, causing a rift in your party. The candidates have to find a way to distance themselves from Bush and stay within the party line at the same time and that's a heck of a fence to walk. Whether you like President Bush or not he has damaged the reputation of the Republican Party and caused many Independents and moderates to turn toward the Democrats for '08.

What do you think needs to be done to correct these perceptions among so many Americans? Do you think the Republicans can repair the damage in time to win in '08?

obviously, there's no clear-cut consensus, because i understand that not all conservatives are alike, but in as general terms as possible, what value does art (in all of its forms) have to society as far as conservative philosophy is concerned? should there be government funding to support art? if so, should there be restrictions as far as who gets it? should art be censored? should there be an emphasis on art in the educational system? etc.

Its so retarded. Calling a person from your opposing viewpoint a "troll" or any other name really doesn't make you look any more intellegent, it just makes you look immature and frankly, stupid because you have to resort to name-calling instead of defending your opinion.

There are millions of BOTH viewpoints in this country (and people with many more), and BOTH sides have smart people, and stupid people, rich people, and poor people.

So seriously, get over it, because rarely have a I met a person who doesn't hold the same political viewpoints as their family does, which just goes to show you how they are developed.

Its worked out extremely well for countries such as Sweden, Norway, and Finland, which have been declared in the top 10 as least corrupt countries and most livable places in the world (http://www.infoplease.com/toptens/leastcorruptcountries.html)

So it seems to me you just like to complain.

The plan, at least the one being proposed by Obama gives people the option of buying into affordable plans, but they have to pay for it. I keep seeing people talking about a free ride...it is not a free ride, it is affordable healthcare.

HOW MUCH does it cost to supply the US military with armored vehicles, protective gear, armored helicopters, etc.?

The military budget was cut back so much by the Clinton administration's 8 years in office it's amazing our ARMED FORCES even had a chance to fight for their lives - let alone for their own country.

Can you imagine how much it could have saved George W. Bush from having to spend upgrading our military from that hapless existence?

Honestly, what are the numbers to get our military ON TRACK with weapons instead of playing catch-up from being financially pillaged by the Clinton administration?

COULD FEWER U.S. SOLDIERS DIED? Well of course!

Does anyone care to add up and account for how many billions of dollars Clinton cut from his budget and how many billions Bush had to shell out just to get caught up?

Why is this something the liberals conveniently IGNORE when it comes to BLAMING who caused so many US deaths?

So, whats your goal?

2007-08-10 06:52:04 · 25 answers · asked by Anonymous

Health care for example.
Most healthcare is ok as long as you dont get a dibilitating injury or very sick. Then it becomes too expensive.
If you mention that they will say well if you cant afford it its not my problem because I can.
Thats not the issue of course.
The world is not so black an white.
Some people arent able. Pure an simple.

So because they wealthy they dont deserve good healthcare.

Oh yeah in a nationalized healthcare you can still choose your
doctors. And if you get a dibilitating illness or injury you will be taken care of.
And in america if you are sick and then try to get insurance forget about it. They only will insure those who dont need insurance.

I don’t stifle free speech on college campuses by throwing pies at and shouting with people who don’t share my political beliefs

I don’t vandalize the headquarters of the other party before election night

I don’t go on private property to vandalize signs supporting the other party in an election season

I don’t sneak into the other party’s convention to heckle their candidate

I have never complained about the government not finding me a good paying job

I think the Rich pay more than their fair share

I don’t explain all the failures of my party with nutty conspiracy theories

I fly an American Flag on my property

I think most Americans are Smart good People regardless of who is in office
