Which reminds me, If Republicans do so love America, why do they resort to lying about democrats who actually DO SOMETHING other than spit on their fellow Americans who are not rich?
i.e. "Why do Democrats like to keep people poor and dependent?"

Better question: Why Do Republicans feel the need to spread deliberate lies about a party that follow Christs teachings better than they EVER WILL?

I have a few theories on this:
1- We have a $10Billion-a-month disaster in Iraq
2-Republicans are world class moral hypocrites
3-Republicans are world class moral hypocrites
3-Republicans are world class moral hypocrites
4-Next year is an election year.

Some "party of values" we have here with GOP, no?

I don't have a problem with talk radio..I am just amazed how gullible the people are that listen to it. It is a great example of groupthink. If you have enough people reinforcing something, you will start to believe it , even if you know it is false. I find it laughable when people say stupid crap like that...It makes them look ignorant.

the excellent American merchandising and marketing device has particularly and rightfully brainwashed lots of the US inhabitants into procuring stuff we don't need - and it is not any truer than on "holiday journeys" like Valentines Day!!! I consider you a hundred%

Well your theories seem more like rants than theories. Haven't met anyone that was brainwashed by anything that was on the radio. Contrary to what you might think, Americans are not mindless zombies that need to listen to talk radio to get their daily marching orders. Many of us can think for ourselves, and still listen to talk radio, baseball games, or other sporting events we weren't able to attend.

No they dont.
They funny thing is, most of the people I know who listen to that crap are small business owners who dont daily associate with other people on a daily basis. They fall into the trap of thinking they are participating in a great brotherhood of hatred, that in fact, a very small percentage of people actually buy into. Its a progressive thing as well. You start out listening casually, but get drawn in as they occasionally hit a "target" that you actually agree with.

On this board, there are a few very vocal ones with multiple alts that travel as a pack, shouting down any potential dissenting voice and barraging them with thumbs-down. Creating the impression theirs is the majority opinion. The truth is, most people are far to busy to be bothered with a forum like this or the Rush Lipbalm show or Ann Coulter garbage. They simply know what they know and dont feel the need to defend an unassailable position.

The Democrats and liberals have faults of their own, but the tone and tenor of this board has gotten a bit "goose-steppy" lately and its getting me irritated. Hopefully once school starts theyll mostly be too busy getting picked on as Freshman in high school to be bothered to troll the board.

What was a lie about that? Take a look at income tax rates during your lifetime.
Tax brackets for the lowest income tax brackets were never lowered by a Dem. Its the GOP that lowered taxes for the poorer people and they did it twice.
So are you going to deny reality on that or do you have some twisted explanation to try and rationalize it?

If the Dems are actually "doing something" (whatever that means) then why are their job approval ratings lower than the Presidents?
All in only 7 months, too!

EDIT: Al Cracka, heres some info you apparently arent aware of, or are in denial about:

House Majority: Democratic.
Senate Majority: Democratic.

That means more than 50%.

Look it up, I did.

Sounds like a hate rant to me...

I voted for Bush because there was nobody better.

The only thing you have against talk radio is that your guys finish last!

Liberal talk shows don't attract listeners because nobody wants to hear sound bites and slogans, people want substance!

Rush and Hannity talk about the real issues that affect our world, they don't just parrot the same worn out pablum.
"Bush lied, babies died"
"No no, we won't go"
"Hugs not guns"

Americans who actuall THINK need more than sound-bite politics.

I don't think talk radio goes far enough. Why doesn't O'Reilly, Rush or Hannity ever talk about the federal reserve system? Why don't they ever try to organize an Article 3 effort against judges that don't carry out their oath of office? Why don't they expose politicians who earn millions carrying water for banksters and communist who want to destroy our country?

That's what I want to know.

They think that if they repeat a lie over and over, that it eventually it'll become true. Think as in "1984" by Orwell when double-speak was introduced, "good is bad, bad is good".

for having compared US news with the ones in other countries, what you get is more an "entertaining political forum", not an accurate reporting of facts.
