So, many people hate him. Some people think he's tolerable. Then there's the people who adore him, for reasons unknown to me. Anyone care to explain this love for our current president? What has he done that makes him so much better than any other president we've had?

Nothing. He's far from a great president. People still like him though because America is a center-right nation and except for the immigration/amnesty issue, he's not an illiberal. When you look at the ideas and agenda of the radical left, most people are forced to tolerate Bush.

He has used the bully pulpit to lie to and steal from the people and promote big oil better than any president in history. Those that love him so much believe what he says. Even if we could "win in Iraq," all we would have is oil which will soon be obsolete.

You got me. Looking at domestic policy he has NOT passed a single real policy. Not pushed through his energy plan, his social security plan, his immigration plan, etc. He puts his ideas out there and then doesn't get them done. I don't hate him, but he has essentially pushed the pause button for his eight years.

I really believe the reason people adore him is because he is teh same religion as they are, If you can convince people that you are doing Gods will they won't care what you do.
