ok...i really really dont like bush...hes made bad decisions && he looks like a monkey...i mean not to be hatin on anyone...he just really gets on my nerves...all my neighbors love him...they act mean to me cuz i dont...what should i do...its not like i bring him up at all...they do then ask for my oppion...help?? any ideas??

But then, I do not think that would endear yourselves to your neighbours. They try to 'convert' you because they care. It may help if you change the topic of conversation, or you could just be honest and up front. Tell them that you do not want to talk about subjects like that.

Say something like "are you sure you want my opinion?"
But maybe you assume they hate you when they don't. Maybe they feel they are just engaging in a lively debate.
If they get to ugly in the debate say something like "Let's keep this civil"
But most of all, remember to be civil yourself. And respect their right to their own opinion even if you disagree with it.
