While millions of American grandmas and grandparents had to chose between paying for heat, buying medicines or eating dog food, Clinton and the Dems didn't give them one single dime to buy medicines.

Thank God for president Bush.! 90% of seniors are happy with their prescription coverage under Bush.

In the 1950s & 60s, every marketer of shoddy products stuck the word "Deluxe" on the box. Deluxe junk sold like hotcakes. Eventually the word deluxe was worn out and had no meaning at all. It seems like the term conservative values has also reached that point in history where it is also meaningless.
Today there is a political pundit who preaches conservative values on the radio while using illegal drugs, a presidential candidate in the conservative values party who has divorced 3 or 4 times, a seated president who has managed a fiscal deficit in all but 1 year in office.
The list could go on to include sex and bribery scandals involving the conservative values party. The events lead me to believe that the term "conservative values" has no meaning whatsoever to the leadership of the GOP.
In the 2008 election, will be be offered the "Deluxe Conservative Values package?

The estimated 9 million kids whose families make too much money to qualify for Medicaid and too little to afford health insurance. The bill, championed by that nonpartisan team of Sens. Ted Kennedy and Orrin Hatch, who crafted the first SCHIP law in 1997, would add more than 3 million, perhaps close to 4 million, to the 6.7 million already receiving health care under the joint federal-state program.

The presumption of dictating to an independent nation the form of its government is so arrogant, so atrocious, that indignation as well as moral sentiment enlists all our partialities and wishes in favor of one and our equal curse against the other

I find it quite FUN shooting down their weak and feeble, but ever so sickening & insulting arguments for joining.
Like I know of one who's argument goes something like this,"England doesn't really exist, as the Romans & Vickings & whoever eles invaded." that doesn't say much for the rest of the world then does it.
what other ones do you know of..?,i,e" IT saved us from a war"...?.
what in 1973, & a mere trading agreement.

Do you think that the world respects Iran?
Although President Bush says that US respects Iran and its rich culture but as an Iranian I have this feeling that the whole world has no respect for Iran and Iranians!
People mostly generalize us with the politicians in Iran who are sponsoring terrorism,
Sometimes having conversations with people in Canada I get this feeling that they even kind of see me (ordinary people) responsible for the evil things my government is doing back there!
In fact we don’t get any respect because we have evil politicians,
Am I wrong on that? Let me know what you think?
Thank you!
