Who else finds listening to, & arguing with PRO-Europeans funny?

I find it quite FUN shooting down their weak and feeble,but ever so sickening & insulting arguments for joining.
Like I know of one who's argument goes something like this,"England doesn't really exist, as the Romans & Vickings & whoever eles invaded." that doesn't say much for the rest of the world then does it.
what other ones do you know of..?,i,e" IT saved us from a war"...?.
what in 1973, & a mere trading agreement.

If the EU has its way,England will not exist. In 2009,their plan is to break the UK up.England is no longer shown on EU maps,just regions of the EU!Democracy is almost dead in Europe.The cumbersome, incompetent, ridiculously corrupt, incredibly arrogant, and unelected Euro-bureaucracy is already in a position to dictate trans-European policies that by-pass all national legislatures. There is nothing to stop, or even slow, the metastasis of micro-managing regulations that interfere with the daily lives and customs of half-a-billion souls.While the European Parliament is nominally elected, it exists for show, and is effectively powerless against that bureaucracy, voting on only a tiny proportion of that bureaucracy's diktats, and having no power whatever to initiate legislation.An organization that began after the Second World War as a free-trade agreement has morphed into the world's biggest nanny state. I disagree. If you live in England you are already under EU rule.

Example : Our government can no longer decide if an item attracts VAT or not. The EU tells us if it's Vatable and we do as we are told. If our government disagree we can ask that it is given the lower rate of 5% but must explain why. We can not ask that it's zero rated.

Kai M do you always get so carried away? I'm very anti-E.U. but I'm a long way from being a Nazi. It's you who are ranting and raving. The E.U. is corrupt and inefficient. I think it was 11 years before the auditors would accept any of the E.U. accounts. Last year, probably under duress they accepted about half of the accounts. Reading your reply was a good laugh.

I find your question incoherent, and extrapolating from this, I doubt you "shoot down" any arguments on YA. Who is "joining" what? And it's "whose," not "who's." After that, you degenerate into a mish-mash of ampersands and parentheses and ellipses, I can't tell what you're saying. I'm glad you're having fun, though.

Try me! I doubt that you will succeed. You seem to have some notion that you loose all sense of your own National identity simply because you choose to see benefit in working with other Nations that have values, history and aspirations similar to your own. I have Greek, French, German and Italian friends all of whom are happy to be considered European - but, fiercely, defend their own National interest. Possibly this dichotomy (look it up!) of view-points seems mutually exclusive to you. I can assure that others can resolve it.

You somehow seem to think that you are better off alone, even though coopearation, international friendship, working together, team work and international trade ALWAYS bring about a better outcome!

Also, only by becoming more similar throughout Europe do our companies get true access to each other's markets, do we get any human rights improvements, and in a perfect world ALL nations except the US & China would end up joining, and then we could finally begin to force them to do something about the US: global warming & letting the people of the world veto wars & invasions; China:democratisation.

Pro europeans are usually d!ckheads who dont actually know why they are pro-eu.(Notice the lack of capitals, lack of any respect).My father is pro eu but his father fought Hitler???????? The eu will run its course then wither and die. As to how anyone can promote this silly communist project???, they MUST be on the unelected payroll.
