I remember when Made in Japan and Made in China were laughed at as inferior products. Then came the 1980s and the beginning of corporate greed and the government facilitating the decline of the union strength in America and outsourcing for profits. We forced some of the worst corporate polluters out for good reason then American corporations found cheap labor. The American government has encouraged this policy for corporate profits, our government is more concerned with corporate America than with you and I. It is very sad...

Out sourcing affects everyone. I think it is a smart idea. For example, do you hire a person to maintain your Air Conditioning full time, or do you call someone when you need service? that is also a form of outsourcing.

From a financial standpoint its worth considering. Maintain a cor base crew, source others to assist support your services / operations etc. Gone are the massive overheads e.g. medical coverage, pensions and the like to employ a full staff. It makes a lot of sense!
