Okay, maybe its not best for the country that we play the blame game. But I think its still a valid question.

Do you blame Bush?

The congress and senate?

Who?

Having only seen the movies, I can see that many of the characters are strikingly similar to politicians and influential people in our everyday life. (Like the Head Mistress who does the hostile take-over at Hogwarts - she reminds me of the current secretary of Education under the Bush administration... Margaret Spellings)

see her picture here: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.nndb.com/people/892/000079655/spellings-2-sized.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.nndb.com/people/892/000079655/&h=328&w=218&sz=20&hl=en&start=4&um=1&tbnid=CzaV6XHgJDXICM:&tbnh=118&tbnw=78&prev=/images%3Fq%3DMargaret%2BSpellings%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN

For those who don't know - Margaret Spellings is the one who withdrew funding for PBS, and NPR (claiming that it was gay mind control) and helped Bush to set up "No Child Left Behind"

name a single instance (real, not this hypothetical crap) of how you have lost any civil liberties?

With the consitution being "thrown out the window" as you claim, I just hope Yahoo has enough capacity to handle what must be millions of violations you're going to share with us.

With that in mind, limit your response to just 10 examples that have happen to you directly.

The president does not want Carl Rove to testify to Congress under oath. It’s widely assumed that this is to avoid risking perjury. But the real reason Carl Rove can’t take an oath is much simpler.

It’s because taking an oath involves touching a bible, and he cannot safely do so without incurring second- or third-degree burns.

Bush, the devout Christian, understands this. And with his well-documented penchant for compassion and empathy, he simply refuses to put another human being in harm’s way to serve his purposes.

It is unlikely they could beat Brownback JC Watts on the Green Party ticket nor Rudy G Newt Gingrich on the Libertarian ticket in 2008.
What do you think?

Ya'all really need to start over. Much of your religion is not intrinsic to the New Testament but, rather, a group of so-called priests who got together a few hundred years after Jesus died and decided they would pull a bunch of wacko ideas out of their backsides. The Council of Nicea being prime example. Who ever said those men had the right to do that? Nobody but themselves.

You didn't want women and the blacks to get the right to vote. Most likely it was because you thought it was your right under god. You don't support a woman's right to choose, but you really wouldn't even need to go down that road if you would take away the stigma from the morning after pill or contraception. You don't support the gay persons right to be married - which will eventually go down the same way as blacks and women voting. Bottom line - you are always wrong. How does it feel? You are on the same side as the KKK, the Nazi's - all because you feel that your mythical god tells you that is what you should think. DO you ever have those days where you wake up and think - man it would be nice to think for myself? All I am saying is that I think if you look to the future - you will see the bigotry of this administration being turned back - and eventually equality and goodness will return to the world.

CARACAS, Venezuela - Sean Penn applauded President Hugo Chavez as the Venezuelan leader lambasted the Bush administration and demanded an end to war in Iraq.

Cuban-born actress Maria Conchita Alonso, who grew up in Venezuela, said Penn is lending support to a "totalitarian" leader who wants increasing control of society — a charge Chavez denies.

In a phone interview from her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., Alonso said although she respects Penn as an actor, she hopes he "comes to his senses and he realizes that he's being used."

If you acted that way toward people you had over for dinner, you'd rightly end up with a pie in your face. Where can we go for REAL debate in the spirit of democracy? Does it have to be the BBC or the Internet?
That's right, Bill O'Reilly is anti-democracy when he attempts to stifle the statements of others. Can you dweebs tell the difference between his televised editorials and real, hard, fact-based news? At least newspapers paste the word 'Editorial' above their opinions and identify them honestly.

I don't, not for one minute!

They always try and say something lame like, "I'm a liberal but, i support the 2nd Amendment and I own guns." Yet you find the very same people supporting the likes of Hussein Obama, Hillary or other Dems with long records of being anti-2nd Amendment.

They're singing one tune, but their feet are moving to another song

Then it is an evil thing, plain and simple, and certainly not representing the God of goodness. Too much of Christianity is like spitting in the face of Jesus, who was better than this religion you PEOPLE have built up around him.
