Then it is an evil thing, plain and simple, and certainly not representing the God of goodness. Too much of Christianity is like spitting in the face of Jesus, who was better than this religion you PEOPLE have built up around him.

No but many of the Televangelists do. It is disgusting and does not represent Jesus or the Holy Bible. So many of them supported the War for greed, and many still do. Many are in the "we hate Mexicans" mode, it's disgusting. If you watch theses entertainers then you should not read the bible you keep sending them your money and definitely vote Republican.

Actually, James, the Bible teaches that those who do not believe in Jesus are lost, which is a simple fact. The Bible, however, does not teach Christians to kill non-believers at every opportunity, as does "the religion of peace". If you want to learn what Jesus really thought, read the Bible instead of fantasizing about what you would like it to say. Don't pay attention to most of the televangelists. They're just in it for the money. Read The Word Of God and you will learn all you need to know for your salvation. There is no other way, contrary to the popular head in the sand belief of most non-christians.
