There are idiots and intelligent people on both sides of the fence.
But look at the psychology of your question. If "libs" didn't make you feel less than intelligent yourself, you would never even think of asking this question or be whining about how they think they're SO smart. Generally when my kids say "Oh you think you're SO smart" it's because I'm right and they can't think of anything else to say.

How can you say 'libs' are not smart? I would never say conservatives are not smart. It just doesn't make sense. These are such simple terms that often fail to explain people's political views. Both sides have total idiots and both sides have great thinkers. There is a huge number of people on each side of the political spectrum who are highly educated.

How does one "feel" that they are smart?
How do you measure intelligence?
Does God tell you who the smart ones are?
What fine University did you graduate from?
How many degrees and certificates of recognition hang on your walls?

Because they have thousands of American lap dogs pounding their paws together for the next installment of "What your County can do for you . . . " rhetoric and those pitbulls on the stage find that desperation empowering.

Liberals love titles, it's a given. They refer to themselves as "intellectuals", "progressives" and "free thinkers" when in reality, they have no original thoughts, have shown no progress, and parrot everything michael moore and moveon.org say.
