Another lib betrays his nation and gives aid and comfort to US enemies. This is what liberals truly stand for folks:

CARACAS, Venezuela - Sean Penn applauded President Hugo Chavez as the Venezuelan leader lambasted the Bush administration and demanded an end to war in Iraq.

Cuban-born actress Maria Conchita Alonso, who grew up in Venezuela, said Penn is lending support to a "totalitarian" leader who wants increasing control of society — a charge Chavez denies.

In a phone interview from her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., Alonso said although she respects Penn as an actor, she hopes he "comes to his senses and he realizes that he's being used."

The Hollywood crowd- Penn, Timothy Sarandon and all the limousine liberals, openly embrace communism. The liberals masses, hide in the weeds, supporting them but lack the courage to be honest about their true opinions and preferences.

Liberals don't want to come out of the closet until it's safe (they are yellow, through and through).

Danny Glover had to be separated by Chavez with a crowbar. They also adore Castro; question for you sissies who support the liberal revolution, if Castro's world is so much better, why does he hold his people prisoner in their own country?

I'll tell you the answer, comrade liberal, Castro can't risk his people seeing the free world, people living in freedom ( a value that means nothing to liberals).

The funniest part- Hollywood's biggest rallying issue is McCarthyism; I think McCarthy has been validated.

If memory serves, last month hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans went into the streets to protest the Communist Government of Chavez taking over the only T.V. station that represented the people. If memory serves Chavez has done away with their Constitution. Insight on the News Magazine did an article on the amount of Castro's people that are now in his Secret Police and are teaching in the schools. So the poster above that comments about Penn's freedom of speech, he enjoys that which the Venezuelans have had taken from them. If memory serves again Penn snuggled up to Saddam before Desert Storm when Saddam invaded and raped and murdered his way through Kuwait. Water Seeks It's Own Level and Penn has sought out his.

"Since only 7% of the military are self-described Liberals, and 60% of the military are young men and women from Republican families," I happen to know what the real numbers are, so let's see your source. Failing that, your numbers are meaningless. "why do the Democrats keep calling to see footage of coffins?" No kidding? I haven't heard anything like that. You mean one liberal someplace, or do you mean that there's a national outcry from the Democratic party? Or what? "If the Iraqi War has fewer casualties than any other ground war in American history, why highlight it?" Why highlight what? That over three thousand young people have died in an illegal, immoral war? "Why" indeed... "Isn't a low casualty rate a good thing," No casualties are a good thing. One senseless death is a bad thing. 3000 senseless deaths is a horrific thing. And in case you've overlooked it, there have been at least 100,000 Iraqi deaths. 100,000 people have died in a war that they didn't start and didn't want. They were murdered so that American corporations would benefit. "and shouldn't this be a private moment between Republican families and their deceased children?" Do you pretend to speak for these families? Republican, Democrat or otherwise?

In fairness, although Sean Penn calls himself a "liberal", I think he is a communist or something similar. He has been that way for a long, long time. I do not really think that this is a person who is a Democrat in any real sense.

His father, Leo Penn, was a Communist and he apologized for Hitler until Hitler invaded the then USSR. The USSR and Germany started World War II together, by invading Poland.

Problem is people like Penn never come to their senses since they have no education which would give them the ability at a point in their live to see why the type of socialism that they push on our agenda is so dangerous. Penn and his ilk should not be given a break by our media but they are thus the only way to really stop these events from happening is to not support his movies. Liberals would call that censorship but censorship is only when the government or the mass media does it. If the general public refuses to view his crap then we are exercising our freedom of speech.

Ah yes, America is so democratic. You can have any opinion you like there. You are free to express it.

Just so long as it agrees with the government (or a cuban-born actress). If it doesn't, then you will be boycotted, threatened and insulted publicly in the "democratic" media owned by a tiny minority. You will be silenced at worst, or there will be a news clampdown at best. Isn't that what we were told the Soviets were like?

Chavez is democratically elected by his people. Why do you hate that fact? The US tried to mount a coup against him (so what's new?) and he was put back in power by the will of his own people. There have been huge demonstrations against him but even bigger demonstrations for him - but you won't hear that on Fox News. Try a search on any of the press agencies and you'll find it.

The reason why his people support him, and Bush hates him, is that he's done what he promised to do, take on the US oil giants and spread the wealth for the good of his people.

Do you really believe that the people of Venezuela would rather have rtheir natural resources stolen by large US oil companies, rather than the way Chavez is using it to provide health and education services to the country where there was none before? You think they live the US so much?

That's what those foolish kids who joined the US army are dying for - so some oil executives can make some more money.

Until Americans wake up and start to realize just how much hold these people have on this country there is not much we can do. When people who at one time were considered less than dogs now have the major say in our politics its time to wake up. Actors were once considered not welcome and there were many for rent signs saying, No dogs or Actors welcome. Now they get millions of dollars and are worshiped like gods. If an actor is a Republic of worse a Conservative they have to keep it a secret or they do not get the good roles. The fact that the female running for office gets most of their support is a sure indication of just how sorry this country is falling;.

It kinda makes sense... actors play roles, so I suppose it's not surprising that they ignore the body counts and keep giving in to the romanticism of socialism.

Attagirl, Maria. Great to get a point of view from someone whose boots were on the ground instead of some leftist clown who lives in a mansion and eats steak while lecturing to the little people about the sacrifices they need to make.

Sean Penn once again proves how much of an idiot he is--how can he not see what a repressive dictator Chavez is? So, either he's an idiot, or he is in support of repression. Which is it? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he's an idiot.

The US Constitution and freedom of speech don't apply in Venezuela you morons.

Funny how you defend Penn with the tired azz freedom of speech argument, meanwhile the people of Venezuela continually have their speech suppressed by Penn's good buddy Chavez.

Your leftist arguments are completely illogical and baseless and you tout yourselves as educated intellectual superiors. What a joke.
