Since a Dem president does NOT have the authority, why is this false fear tactic always being ranted by neo-cons as part of their list of reasons not to elect a Dem president?

Can any pseudo-lib, cowardly misanthrope that betrayed me and mine in the wilderness of Nam generate the illusion that firearms did not infact have a profound effect securing their right to be so incorrect! (See American Revolution) And their weak and lame attempt to re-write history and dismiss the superior efforts of their betters as it were, and disarm honest law abiding citizens by electing filthy criminal democrats...

They won't take our guns away, but they will pass more stupid gun laws and drive up the prices for those who purchase guns legally. Yes, I said STUPID gun laws. I say stupid because I purchased a "post-ban" AR-15. Now, if I were to add a bayonet lug to it, it would be considered an "assault riffle" and I could be arrested and fines etc. However, I can get on the Internet or go to a local gun show and purchase, on the spot, Armor Piercing ammo for that same gun. Better yet, I can buy API rounds for an .50 cal riffle. How much sense does this make? NONE! Why do you need armor piercing rounds?
I'm not saying I want to buy all kinds of automatic machine guns, nobody needs them. I'm saying LOOK at the laws passed and how little the "assault rifle" band really did. NOTHING, it made guns more expensive...that is all.
Sorry, API standing for Armor Piercing Incendiary rounds. Who needs these?

I disagree with most of these respondents. If we have a socialist take over, everything will be done 'for the good of the people'. To get their agendas set into place, disarming us would make it easier.
That shows you just how much trust I have in our government. Zip, zilch, zero, nil!
