Is this the oath that our politicians are taking these days?

I think the foreign policy plays a great role in recruiting those despaired people, who lost their homes, lands, dads, mothers & other relatives in orgenized terror of Israel & in Afganistan & Iraq daily.
* Those people has no equivellant force (Plane fighters or tanks ) to defend them selves, their leaders are betraying them, so every one of them (people) try to get his revenge in his own way.
** Why don't the powerful countries leaders try to be fair & not biased policy for once, I think that will reduce those type of despaired people to commit their actions!!!

* People who were suffering under the dictator Saddam are now missing him, as their life now completely ruined & every one of them has the chance to die every day.
* In Afganistan, people were restricted under the Taliban But they don,t die in 10s daily by the western forces!!
PLS BE REALISTIC & PUT UR SELF IN THOSE PEOPLE PLACE WHEN THINKING ABOUT THE PROBLEM!!

I mean really.........

All presidents have given out lots of Pardons, some to help their pals........

I think we can all agree that they have always done it, and always will.......................

I think we can all agree that although it may not be right, it will always happen unless laws are changed................

Lastly, I think we can all agree that no matter how many times you ask the same question (sometimes reworded) it will always get the same types of answers, yet there is nothing you or I can do about it.........

So if we can all agree, shouldn't we put this issue to bed?

Do You Agree?

See, christians can shoot doctors and other christians protect them and it's all good. Conservatives don't like blacks, women, compassion for the poor, tolerance, and always give each other tax breaks and it's all good. Muslims hate that, but they are terrorists. How are the christian right, the Republican right, and automatonic consevatives BETTER than Islamic terrorists?

YA is full of questions saying "Clinton pardoned people, why can't Bush?" and "if Clinton got bashed for pardoning people, why can't we bash Bush?" I've got news for all of you - if YOU support one but not the other, either way, you're a hypocrite, but if you're consistent, you're not. So if you ask the question, why don't you start by saying how you stand on BOTH cases? That goes for every question like this.

Nixon's achievements include establishing relations with Russia and China and getting us out of Nam.

Compare the value of those to our country in light of the cost of his "abuse" of power during Watergate.

How would Nixon rate as a president if it had not been for Watergate?

"I believe that presidential pardon authority is available to any president, and almost all presidents have exercised it," Clinton said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press. "This (the Libby decision) was clearly an effort to protect the White House. ... There isn't any doubt now, what we know is that Libby was carrying out the implicit or explicit wishes of the vice president, or maybe the president as well, in the further effort to stifle dissent."

Does she she can convince us that the Clinton's pardons were done in compassion for misprosecuted cases--and not done to protect their sorry @$$es or for Hillary's political future?

Congress’s oversight authority is not simply some looming omnipotence, to be invoked whenever. It is not Congress’s function to police the executive branch. (That’s what courts are for.). Impeachment trials aside, its job, simply and solely, is to make law. And everything it does must be in pursuance of that function.

How do you think we should settle the tensions in the middle east and come to terms with the muslim culture that is so bent on the destruction of infidels?

The most infamous and controversial Clinton pardon, Marc Rich (Wire fraud, mail fraud, racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, criminal forfeiture, income tax evasion, and trading with Iran in violation of trade embargo). Even Dems were upset over this pardon.

Rich bought crude oil from the Ayatollah Khomeini's Iran while Iran was holding U.S. citizens hostage. This was in direct violation of a U.S. trade embargo -- and, in effect, helped to arm the Iranians by giving them needed cash.

Yet, Rich and his wife Denise (now former wife...he has since left her for a new chickie-babe) raised and donated more than $1 million to the Democratic Party in recent years and also provided the Clintons directly with a $10,000 contribution to their legal defense fund and $7,300 worth of furniture. Hmmmmm.....

In comparison, Libby is small potatoes. A man who did nothing except forget what he said to whom...

In 1994 Democratic Congressman Mel Rynolds was convicted of child sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography.

He was sent to prison.

In 1997 he was also convicted of bank fraud and lying to SEC investigators.

After serving his first sentence,

Bill Clinton commuted the bank fraud sentence for this child sex abuser allowing him out of prison 3 years early.

But now the Democratic party is saying commuting Libby's sentence is wrong .

This doesn't pass the smell test.

Commuting the sentence of a child sexual assualter is ok with the Democrats, but not Libby ??

PS: the Democrats actually ran Rynolds for for Congress again in 2004.

Have they no shame ?

Since I keep getting the excuses that Clinton did the same things Bush did, are you happy that you elected another Clinton? Are you happy the best you can ask out of your leaders is that they are no worse than anyone else?
