Osama Ben Laden's family got rich doing what again? And among their American friends were what president and his president son? And when was the last time anyone even heard of Osama? Was he ever looked for? Do you suppose the Ben Laden's ask the Bush's to lay off? And yet people are surprised that Libby walks? What's a terrorist?

I am a former military person myself, as was my father. We did not fight for the flag, we fought for the country it represents. We did not fight for the christian right, for conservatives, for liberals, or for oil. Hypocrit? Okay, but I've earned the right, RedStateRandy. I've no idea what you're talking about anyway. Top contributor, fourthy27? Yes. In more ways than you. And, finally, to mckenziecalhou -- the family I'm questioning is Bush, no one can be insulted who was misled, and your reading of the question is flawed. I don't HAVE to be a veteran to express my opinion -- this IS partially still America -- but, by god, I WILL express it and call every non-vet, non-voter on their beliefs. Cindy Sheehan is right -- this isn't very much the country I grew up to love, but what vestiges of old America that are left will understand when I say -- question everything. Question authority. It's the American thing to do.

Your question is an insult to every military man and woman, every private citizen, every Islamic man and woman who actively looked for Bin Ladin. It suggests a conspiracy that is unfounded, and is unjust.

1) The Bin Ladin family is HUGE.
2) You want to condemn a family for the actions of a member (real just, that).
3) You ever hear of six degrees? How many criminals in your family? How many friends of your family members are criminals? Should you be in jail right now for it?

After all we've been through, you still blur the line on what a terrorist is? Don't give me that junk about "I only asked a question!" You'd have to be a child not to see your goal.

Libby was caught for a small thing in a witch hunt, just like President Clinton was. They were both travesties of justice perpetuated by those who put their ideologies ahead of our country.

I'm a democrat, but first and foremost the enemies of our country will NEVER get public support from me. I am foremost a patriot.

Oh, my grandfather was a vice-president of one of those oil companies. He knew virtually every merchant and noble family in Saudi Arabia. My brother ended up with one of them as his godfather (I got a very nice New York accountant that I am grateful for). You can't be in the oil company business without knowing certain families. Your argument is silly from the beginning. Guilt by association. Gee, that's new.
