I simply don't understand.

As far as I know, no one claimed that Libby outed Plame, who was in fact a covert C.I.A. operative. He was convicted of lying and impeding an investigation.

Not only did the announcement of her employment endanger her and her family, but it endangered everyone who had ever had contact with her in other countries.

The ignorance of some people still astounds me. Even though I should have learned to expect it by now.

I wish people would gets their facts straight and do a little research before they showed their lack of intelligence on the world wide web.

Nobody claimed that Libby outed Plame. However, people claim that she was covert because she was. It's a simple fact, and anything to the contrary is BS.

Because she held covert status. While at the time she was not covert, she could have gone undercover at any time. Your cite is misleading.

the simple fact is... what you say is correct... BUT... she could have been reassigned to covert duty (which means she was still covert), which she was on in the past... at any time... until her cover was blown...

He wasn't found guilty of outing her, he was guilty of perjury.

She WAS covert.

The people who keep telling you otherwise have been lying to you.
