The FDA declared GE foods to be safe in the face of broad disagreement from its own experts -- all the while claiming an overwhelming scientific consensus supported its stance.

Evidence shows the agency flagrantly violates the U.S. Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, which mandates that new food additives be demonstrated safe through testing before they are marketed. While the FDA admits that bioengineered organisms fall under this provision, it claims they are exempt from testing because they are "generally recognized as safe", even though their own scientists disagree.

Every genetically engineered food in the U.S. is on the market illegally and should be recalled for rigorous safety testing. The FDA has deliberately unleashed a host of potentially harmful foods onto American dinner tables in blatant violation of U.S. law. AND YOU DONT GET TO KNOW WHICH FOODS THEY ARE.

My God! How could more than half of this country fell for that simply psychology to swayed dumb Americans to vote for him. Doesn't this means that more than half of this country is ignorant and naive?? Look at all the red states who supported the evil Bush who used Fear tactics to brainwashed Americans to have voted for him??!!! How could anyone believe that Rep can do better to protect us from Terrorism than Dems??? Not to mention, all these major terrorisms happened during Bush's watch/Republicans?? So do you think Dem can do worse than the Bush and his clans?????

Considering that Sadam has already been tried (justice was served), and considering that our troops are being killed at will by an elusive enemy made up of perhaps the majority of the people in Iraq, I feel we should leave. The mission has been accomplished, and we have no business getting involved on the civil war of another country.

Did the GOP pay the price for refusing to be interviewed on shows like "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report"? Did it make them come across as aloof and out of touch?

Look at the mess we are in at this time! Gas prices skyrocketed since Bush took over! Even though we invaded Iraq for the PURPOSE of oil and yet the price of oil still went up!!!!! Then you have all the mess going on in Iraq that now it's obvious we're losing the war and everyday at least one of US soldiers die along with innocent civilians in Iraq. So did Saddam did such a poor job running his own country???

I think it's about time!

Considering I'm not ready for the antichrist to take office right yet hopefully McCain will win.

I think he would be a good choice for both parties, he can be stern when he needs to be and he knows he has to stroke the democrats ego's to keep them happy.

Do you think he would be good for both sides also?

Is it possible for a U.S. Military Transport aircraft to make a flight from USA to UK without having to land in Shannon, in the Republic of Ireland, to be re-fuelled?

Assuming that the Republic of Ireland remains a neutral country, and presumably such operations carried out in U.S. Military Transport aircrafts are classified, why not send out aircraft from UK to re-fuel the transport aircrafts in mid-air over international waters?

I believe I am correct when I say Hercules aircraft can fly from say Oxford in UK to Virginia in the USA without having to re-fuel anywhere mid-route...?

I include 2 links where I base my assumption and question on -

Republic of Ireland neutrality info - http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/docum...

The reason for my question - http://www.barder.com/ephems/598...... - in particular the book Ghost Plane by Stephen Grey (I include this final link as an aside http://www.barder.com/ephems/414)......

This question is primarily for the "Separation of Church and State" crowd. As these are religious in origin and nature and as most city/state/federal governments ban religious displays, TO BE CONSISTENT, shouldn't these 2 days no longer be recognized by the government as holidays?
