Highly doubtful. We are likely to keep a "garrison" there for quite some time. We still have bases in Saudi Arabia etc. Which btw- is one "sore point" with Osama on why he declared jihad against the US.

Never,America would withdraw from Iraq but military bases will remain to protect Iraqi oil installations .

No way. They have gone thru too much trouble and lying to put them there. We have permanent bases in other countries and I see the same thing for Iraq.

No, we still have bases just about every where else where we have waged war, why would it change now?
