These are ThePeople's Republic of China, The Republic of France,The Russian Federation,The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and The United States of America. In 2004, of these five countries, 4 of them account for the top 4 weapons exporters, China was seventh.
What chance does humanity have of finding peace when the perpetuation of war is maintained by those who are supposed to be fighting for peace?

I am always surprised when someone states that the UN is worthless, and that they want to retreat from the UN, as well as some more, unsavory things.

I realize that there has been a smear campaign in the US against the UN in order to soften how the US is ignoring the important global body. The reason for this- could it be that the US wants to be the sole spokesnation for the rest of the world?

However, surely the people see through that, as the UN shines through invariably with its true character.

Inefficient it may be, yet there have been moves to get rid of the bureaucracy, however that has been vetoed by the US. Otherwise, it's trackrecord in the field is better than for example the US military.

I think the reason is, that quite simply Americans don't want hundreds of foreigners gather up in New York, who aren't American, never want to be American, and speak up against America, whenever they want to. If not, then what?

Why would we vote for rich people who can not relate to what its like just being normal, working from check to check? I get the sense that these politicians don't care about us. i feel like were being fooled. When I get that feeling I am usually right. Do you think a guy like Bush cares about us with all his heart? like a leader should, a guy like Abe Lincoln, i did'nt know him, but it seems like that guy actually might have cared

Why don't we vote for people we actually believe that might care about us? how about if the person has money , lets automatically not vote for them. People with money do not represent the majority of the populus. Why do we vote for people who ca not relate to us?

News reports say that the Israelis rejected a peace proposal from the Europeans, regarding the Israeli Palestinian conflict.

What do you think that the Israeli government wants out of all thier militaristic approaches? Is the Israeli government an extremist organization?

I know some do not like second hand smoke. I perfectly understand that. I know some are allergic to smoke. I understand that. But why do some think our GOVERNMENT should control bars letting customers smoke? Are we all for government control about this?
Non-smokers are saying that smoking is just about the worst thing on this earth?

What about sugar? I have read many testimonies saying that if people didn't consume so much sugar, there would not be near as many cold and flu bags nagging during the winter. Oh, eating sugar only effects me. Smoking effects someone else?
What happens if you get sick and get someone else sick from lowering your immune system from sugar? Older people have died from the flu rather than just smoking! Sugar can cause death from diabetes. So, non-smokers, should we ban all types of sugar now?

Canada is strategically north of us, we don't need anyone on top of us, i mean, who likes the top anyway? But Poland they are home to the world's strongest man and we can use him to lift up a jet aircraft if needed and throw it at them commies! Sequel? I mean, it served no purpose in relation to the constitution. I mean i have the right to bare arms, so i wear only cut off shirts with a hyperbola on them. The movie went on with endless rhetoric about how superstring theory proves the 9-11 conspiracy theory impossible to demostrate the idiocy of the far left. The movie sums it all up with the far left actually found swimming in the pacific ocean, by Japan, because they even went past Hawaii.

The Iraq war, no matter who is in power, will not end until a Democracy is in place and the country is free and stable. Both Democrats and Republicans know what value a strong, reliable Democracy could do for the region and neither side wants to see the consequences of it failing. Even the terrorists know this, that is why they fight so hard against it. A Democratic nation that succeeded could change the face of the Middle East for good and could be the model in which the other nations of the region aspire to be. The people may find there is a better existance than the ones they lead now and it could significantly reduce, or even eliminate terrorism around the world. For these reasons, and others, I was proud to serve my country in its time of need and do my part to ensure freedom, and safety to those who desire it.
