I agree with your assesment.
If Bush knowingly lied to the American people, and approved of high civilian casualties.....then he should be impeached and charged with war crimes.

Lets first look at past wars the united states and allies fought in. You must study these political figures actions ,thoughts and speeches which gives insight into how these countrys fought wars which they where meant to fight and not meant to fight in other countrys.Crimes against humanity is when you fight a dirty war and what i mean by that is using chemical weapons such as Agent orange ,white, blue and i could name every dirty weapon used in vietnam which has soaked into the soil and entered the food chain and that has caused horrific deformity not just in vietnamese people but in soldiers who fought in vietnam and there children.Legal action in my opinion should be fought in the world courts for any nation that fights a dirty war as with chemical weapons its damages the very fabric of all humantiy.First did George Bush or his political estalishment study iraq's tribes belief's and way of life before so called fighting for freedom of iraq's people as people fighting each other in iraq are different tribes that have been there longer than the west as to help these tribes of the middle east you have to understand there history and laws as the west cannot push western law apon a people who are an established society and may i put it educated and i would like to know to where has this old middle east gone as middle eastern scholars are now very few in this developing world and to guard these people in a time of war a (world court) must watch and take part in the war the american's and allies fight so the americans and allies do not commit war crimes as they are there to assist not controll the country.I would also like people to ask more of these questions as now the americans are spraying chemicals on south american (columbia farmers which also cause defomity in children and burn there skin and poison the soil)Can the american's be sued in a world court of law for spraying chemicals on people and land. One country cannot be the governing body for the world as there is no oposing body to tell them they are doing wrong. If a countrys harming the nations of the world use sanctions and even on the largest countrys in the world.Dont forget a country runs on money.

Don't think this question is very intelligent.
Bush isn't guilty of genocide and I'm not his fan.
Genocide means determined, planned violence to eliminate a certain ethnic, religious or social group.
President Bush is not guilty of that by any standard.
Yes the war against Iraq was illegal and yes people died and it's his fault but genocide it is not.
Using those definitions lightly weakens the terms

Congress voted to invade Iraq, based on the info given to them by Bush & Company. He pushed to invade, even before UN inspectors had completed their search, claiming the US was in danger of another attack. Bush now (admits?) the intelligence was incorrect.
Remember how many members of Congress claimed the info given to them at the time, was "cherry-picked"? They were not given nearly enough information to make a truely "informed " decision. Did Bush lie? No doubt.
If the Bush Administration is brought up on war crimes, it will be by the international community (not Congress) for torture & breaking the rules of the Geneva Convention. I doubt the "Military Commission Act of 2006", written by Warner, Grahm & McCain will save Bush. The international community is not going to check US law to see if they can (or not). They totally defragmented our Constitution by creating that bill, & signing it into law. I agree with you, that Bush has committed Genocide in Iraq. How's he gonna explain that one to Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates? I'd be scared if I was him.

It relies upon on what you propose by punishment. I doubt that he will have any problem with the regulation, yet for something of his existence (and longer) his united states will undergo in recommendations his movements. each and every action has a consequence. some might interpret those outcomes as punishments.

Of course he should be tried for that. He (amongst others) is guilty of the death of hundreds of thousands of people. He started this war without reason whatsoever.

Nice thought, though unless he's kidnapped by Dutch radicals, he won't be tried at the Hague.
My thought is, he'll find judgment beyond this life....and he may want to be buried with an air-conditioner, if there truly is a God who believes in justice. If so, he and Osama will likely share a firepit.

So how many of them are truly "innocent"? How do YOU know? Have you seen it firsthand? Have you seen a child running with a grenade given to him by an insurgent get turned to dust while running toward a BFV? Innocent people probably died, innocent people always die but we are NOT exceeding our orders. War is ugly and should only be experienced firsthand by those trained to do so. I guarantee if this much media coverage were allowed during WW2 Hitler never would have been stopped. George Bush stared adversity in the face and he is showing these fanatics if they want too bite, he will bite back. He is only looking out for your protection and everyone else that loves freedom's protection. You best begin showing some respect because the brave men and women from all countries are fighting for YOU!

Probably but it's not possible by the system.
The old dictator Pinochet is not paying for his horrendous crimes of the Operation Condor and other atrocities. The same thing will happen in the USA.
