I know Mr. Hastert has told the truth to the Ethics Panel and that he knew nothing, absolutely nothing about the pedophile he appointed to protect exploited children.

Can we put this behind us now at last and go back to telling people who they should really hate (preferrably not republicans!)

Here is my view on being American.

PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION AT ALL COSTS

However a large portion of my fellow Americans believe the constitution should be altered in the name of 'safety'. When it comes to the constitution being violated this way I just can't comprehend it. Why are these people so scared and terrified? If protecting the constitution means my chances of dying in a terror attack are more likely then so be it, but I WILL NOT sacrifice the constitution for any degree of safety no matter what. Some say this makes me a brave American and a true American, yet the conservatives deem me a coward. These are strange times we live in when those who cower in fear call true American's "cowards"..

We see libbies day in and day out putting down Bush for intelligence yet his supposedly "stupid" man keeps outsmarting and out debating them.Truth be told, I believe Bush is an extremely intelligent man and plays the stupid card in order to make libbies seem like half wits.

This whole thing has been politicized. Did you know that there are different types? Did you know that embronic stem cells (which Democrats have been discussing) have no evidence of doing anything? Did you know that it is not illegal to use these for research? Did you know that Michael J Fox intentionally did not take his parkinsons medicine before filming this commercial?

I believe in God, the Son and Holy Ghost. I do not believe in terrorizing people, and killing. I knew Waco was wrong before it happened. Noone was charged with anything yet lots of women and children died under Janet Reno's orders. No Weapons of mass destruction found. If a person wanted to arrest one person, David Koresh all they needed to do was wait till he came to town, he was never found guilty of anything--no trial.
To me nothing makes that worse than lot's of other things like the mormons -old mormons- marrying 12 yr olds and having dozens of wives.
I knew Iraq was wrong, there were no weapons of mass destruction. The crew sent in to find them found none--yet were told to leave immediately because of war.

First, please understand that this is not an "attack" question. I simply want to know what the Liberal platform is in this election, and my only request is that you don't use attacks on W. or Mark Foley as the basis for your answer. I ask this because without those two talking points, I don't hear much from any of the Liberals that are running for office.

I don't know who will agree or who will disagree but I personally think political correctness in this country is on a war path. It is nonsensical most of the time and reallyu hurting the cultural fabric that is america. Who here agrees, who hear dsagrees? By dictionary definition a political conservative will always "stay the course, right ot wrong." Now that the thing in the White House says it will not "stay the course" is it a true Conservative?
