I believe in God, the Son and Holy Ghost. I do not believe in terrorizing people, and killing. I knew Waco was wrong before it happened. Noone was charged with anything yet lots of women and children died under Janet Reno's orders. No Weapons of mass destruction found. If a person wanted to arrest one person, David Koresh all they needed to do was wait till he came to town, he was never found guilty of anything--no trial.
To me nothing makes that worse than lot's of other things like the mormons -old mormons- marrying 12 yr olds and having dozens of wives.
I knew Iraq was wrong, there were no weapons of mass destruction. The crew sent in to find them found none--yet were told to leave immediately because of war.

The reality is that when you look at all registered democrats, christians make up the majority. That said, I tend to think most christians in the US, republican or democrat are actually more moderate than the right wing talk show hosts would have you believe.
For sure there are right wing bible thumpers who want to see abortion docters dead. I tend to think they are the minority. I expect this November, the moderates will speak out and kick the incumbents out of office.
Of the 20 or so republican clients I have spoken to, about 15 of them have stated quite clearly they will be voting democrat this year.
There is hope...
Peace to you.

Once again it's the Republicans and the Right-Wing wackos that have convinced the very dull-minded Americans that to be Democrats = liberals = Gays and Blacks = Welfare=Women's Rights = Sodomy = Everything that is against God and nature, and of course the non-thinking people believed it all hook, line and sinker. These are the same idiots that got Bush his 2nd term in office by the way.
The Republicans have painted us democrats with a very big ugly brush in this day and time, but you also have to remember that we did the same thing to them throughout all the 60s and the 70s so I guess they get to have their day in the sun.
I wouldn't worry if I were you...people are slowly waking up to the fact that they elected some stupid idiots who only care for themselves and how much money they can make off of you and me, but give it time...we will be back, and we'll have our turn once again at making the Republicans and the Right-Wing Crazy's look like the fools they are.
One thing I know about history is that the books must balance. Don't let them get you down.

certainly, you ought to help applicants that you maximum trust. that would want to signify voting instantly fee ticket Republican, Democrat, or any blend. No social gathering has a monopoly on the actuality. yet judging from the products important to you alongside with being professional-determination and adversarial to gay marriage, you'll sense extra comfortable as a Republican truly some the time (there might want to correctly be the some Democrats you want). Ask/analyze your applicants position on the topic matters close to and severe priced for your coronary heart and vote to that end.

This is actually why I usually use the word liberal instead of democrat, when I am answering questions.
What concerns me most about the democratic party these days is that they are allowing the infection of liberalism...
I consider myself a Christian first, an American second, and a Republican third.
Until the Democratic party figures out which direction it is going to go, I will never be able to consider a Democratic candidate, because regardless of how I feel about the mistakes made by Bush (he's only human, btw), I cannot justify allowing liberalism to destroy everything this nation was built on.

Lady just because you believe in God does not make you a Christian. I can tell you what it does make you though and that would be a wanna- be Democrat. You might want to re-check yourself before you fall deeper into the Godless Church of Liberalism.

By in large, liberals support the notion of a secular government and a secular society. They see religion as a private thing, for each individual to choose on his or her own. When many social conservatives push for a political agenda based on their christian beliefs, liberals naturally oppose this. In the minds of many republicans, that means liberals must hate christianity.
Most repbublicans realize, however that most democrats are christians. They merely try to cast democrats in an anti-christian light in order to win votes from religious people.

I don't think all republicans thinks this way I think it's the few extreme loud mouths that gets heard. I can't believe that anintelligent person who is republican can state such an ignorant comment. I think that when they don't have any other intelligent ways of proving their point they say dumb comments like this.

As a so called Christian you must not read your Bible. Democrats say it is OK for two men to Marry. Democrats say it is OK to kill an unborn child. How can you be a part of such a party?

I agree with you on Waco and Iraq ...Reno should have been fired...and so should Rumsfield
Now as far as why Republicans do not think Democrats are Christan's is Because they see God as a Dictator and not as a creator

Abortion primarily and their agenda.
•attack American traditions, specifically Christian traditions and the traditional American family
•engage in "get-even" policies that support discrimination when it benefits historically disadvantaged groups
•punish and/or discourage achievement through taxation and fiscal policies
•use the rulings of the Judicial branch of the government as de facto law, irrevocable by anything short of Constitutional amendment or a future court ruling, thus bypassing the legislative process. Roe V. Wade is the most frequently cited example of "judicial activism". (48 million dead and counting)
•weaken the military strength and morale of the country by vilifying the practice of armed combat and hesitating to use force when it appears necessary
•use regulatory bodies over private enterprise to accomplish social goals and restrict competition (government, education, labor and health care)
•establish secular and progressive social policy, including support for gay marriage, abortion, liberal drug policy, euthanasia and prostitution legalization.
•implement a foreign policy supporting the selected protection of human rights and multiculturalism through activism, social intervention and violence (social anarchism)
